Seriously, it should be a crime to be as talented as you! You have like the midas touch, everything you touch turns to gold and this fic is no exception.
I love that your Puck characterization is always so on point and the transistion into a sweeter/softer version of him as the story progresses is always so seemless.
The end scene at the baseball field with the fireworks was so cute. His apology was endearing and just, Puck :)

I LOVE Puck, so I'm glad you think I write him in character. I hate out of character fics. And it's strangely easy for me to write his line of thinking. That should probably scare me more than it does.

Puck lit shit up and sent it flying into the air for her. She had to see how awesome that was. ;)

So many little lines in this which made me laugh.

Heh, Puck's one-track mind is adorable. As is Rachel's rants. You did an awesome job of sticking with what we learnt in Bad Reputation about Puck/Rachel's relationship/friendship/interactions from that scene (*sigh*) in her room.

And love the personal growth on Puck's part by realising that he shouldn't have left. Rachel's mission accomplished! =)

I feel like Bad Reputation really showed how great these two could be. They both confessed things they haven't (that we've seen) to anyone else, and they just get each other. It's adorable. I wasn't actually going to have them become a couple in this fic, but I couldn't help myself.

Agreed. I was a little worried how Bad Rep would "change" what we know of P/R and in some ways ruin it, but I think they did it perfectly. I mean they couldn't really have them hook up because she's with Jesse, he's with Quinn and in some ways, having them cheat would just leave a sour taste to the whole hookup. And I know the show is crap with continuity (and would probably just ignore the whole hook up happened the next week if it did), but I'm glad this was at least consistent with what we've seen of them previously.

This way, it was just a hint of how awesome they are together and leaves you wanting more!

I really want to see Puck become this person in canon; I mean, I believe he's on his way there already, and that he's really not as bad as he likes to think he is, but here he's such and endearing mix of good guy and badass-light, that I think I'm in love. Great use of Mike, too.

I think he's on his way, too. The fact that he cares at all what people think about him and goes on the defensive says that. Also, him talking to Rachel like he did proved it.

I don't want him to change too much. I love him too much for that. I like the idea of badass-light, though!

And you know if I can, I'll use Matt and/or Mike! Love those two.

It's all me. It's a little scary. My life is not all Glee/writing. I swear! :P

HA! No, Puck wasn't about to be all, "Okay. You said 15 secs. Let's do this." No. He was taking advantage of that opportunity to the fullest!

I LOVED the sneak peek and that he can't remember Mercedes' name. Puck at his finest. And I like to call them 'Muck', because that's kinda what they make me feel like....

First of all, you are awesome for typing that all out on your phone! Amazing.

I feel like Rachel is the only one who really 'accepts' who he is. She might not agree with everything he does, but she doesn't bitch him out about it, either. Puck is probably one of the most complex and realistic characters on the show, honestly. There's more to him than meets the eye. (Maybe it's just hard to see because what meets the eye is so fucking hot...Maybe?)

I'm really glad you think I keep them in character. I try. There's nothing worse to me than out of character fic.
