Because people keep asking for it (and/or losing it *g*), I'm returning this story SOLELY to my LJ. I'm hoping to post a few of my other, older fics on LJ sometime soon too, but for right now this one will make due.

I don't usually read ship fic because I just don't, but I was bored so I thought why not.

I haven't read part 2 (grad school keeps me busy) but from this part I have to say I think you did a beautiful job at capturing Daniel's inner voice.

Thanks, Kerri! I don't usually write ship fic (don't let Meg tell you otherwise -- I will maintain to my dying day that "Frozen Flame" was not a romance, but rather a love story...and yes, in my universe there is a big difference between the two *g*), but I couldn't help myself with "Lost in a Kiss." It was just too much fun to write -- and it was too great of an opportunity to put Daniel in a completely absurd situation like this and see how he reacted to it. *eg*

Good luck with grad school! And if you ever get a chance to read the second half, I'd love to hear what your reaction to it is. :)

I'll read it. You may have to remind me. I actually wanted to read the rest of your non-SG version of chpater one of frozen flame but it went bye bye with my hardrive. I'm notoriously slow with stuff anyway.

And yes, there is a huge difference between romance and ship ;) Sometimes.
