$30.55 TO MAIL A 2lb. PACKAGE TO FRANCE!?!?!

WTF's up with that!? A woman from France won an eBay auction of mine and I told her that shipping would be $5.25, as stated on the USPS section of eBay. Good lord! Why is it so much to mail a 2 lb. package to France, but it only cost $9.80 to mail the same thing to Australia, including all the customs crap

Nonono! She should pay it, or there is an error at the PS, if ebay said it should cost 5.25 then it should! (although that sounds low...)
Can you ship it via media mail?

It was just a spare 30STM t-shirt and fan pack (CD, 3 1" buttons, a 7" single, armband, and patch) that I had and was trying to purge my room of. The whole thing weighs about 2 lbs.

I already told her the price was $5.25 and she paid it. I feel bad about having to ask her for more. I did do it Global Priority and it still said it was that much. Next time, I'll look into it BEFORE I believe what eBay says. Lesson learned. >_< Thanks for your help, Kari. MUCHO appreciated.

These kinds of annoying complications is exactly why I stopped selling on eBay. :)
