I remember reading Half-Blood Prince the night I started it until 3:00 a.m. and then thinking God, I gotta go to work in the morning, I must sleep. I lay down for about 10 minutes, stared and the ceiling and bounced back up with "I just gotta know"

I arrived at work the next morning with zero sleep and about 25 pages left. My boss walked by me reading at my desk and was all put that away. I said I can't-- you don't understand--I've been reading this since yesterday with zero sleep, I MUST know what happens. So my co-worker from the front desk yelled back-- Let her finish, I'll cover for her until she's done.

He just shook his head and walked away.

So funny! I was like that with Deathly Hallows. It came out and I had to be at work at 4am the next day. I got like zero sleep.

I actually scheduled vacation time around DH and found someone to take my child because I knew I wasn't putting it down until I finished.
