[Nabooru had been taking Tapasvi out for his nightly stroll, mostly because she'd figured no one would see him. But then she saw Jon, the Jon who'd said he was leaving for a few days. She'd told him to be careful - he didn't look like he had been - and he had no idea what she was talking about.

... Or so he claimed.

So while Tapasvi was rooting around the grass and happily blowing streams of fire to amuse himself, she squinted at Jon.]

Look who's back.

[He's very polite. So polite, in fact, Nabooru's a little surprised. Normally she'd bust out with the vanity. Instead, she's trying new tactics left and right.

Her face relaxes into a smile.]

I was trained to learn how to use them since I was young. What are the best days for you in terms of scheduling?

[jonny_talbain]

Whenever you've time. You're the teacher, after all, so, it's best to work with your schedule. I've nothing planned I can't work around your availability.

[Of course he's polite. She's offering to do him a favor and thus far asking nothing in return, so, the least he can do is offer up some manners.]

As I said before, as long as it's not Mondays, I'm willing to offer lessons whenever you'd like. Why don't we schedule for something next Wednesday? We can go practice in the stadium. There's a lot of room to move around in. No danger of hurting or breaking anything in the process.

[This is a surprisingly innocent offer.]

Alright. Wednesday it is. At the stadium after classes. So, about four PM. Sound about right?

That should be perfect. I look forward to seeing you, Jon.

[Then she looked down to Tapasvi.]

He will not be joining us, unless you feel you need an obstacle while you train.

While I'm generally interested in making my training as hard as possible, I doubt we'll need him there.

[He extended a hand.]

I'll see you then, if not before.

[She laughed and took his hand carefully before giving it a firm shake.]

Are you implying you wanted to see me before?

[jonny_talbain]

It's not out of the realms of possibility we'd run into one another before then is all I'm saying. There's only so much school here, after all.

You've got a point. It's inevitable that we won't see each other sooner than that. If you ever feel bored, you can always sit in on my class, too. Even if it's only for ten minutes or so.

Hmm. I've no need to learn to dance but I s'pose I could drop by if it doesn't clash with any of my other classes.

Only if you want to. It's open. Even if you just want to sit back and laugh. I'll admit, some days are amusing.

[He picked up his bag again and shouldered it, giving the Dodongo another look over.]
