Hello! I know a few of you feel that your humanized forms will give you away during the masquerade.

Never fear!

The 31st of October is quite a magical night and if you wish it so, your humanized form can become fully human for that day only. But be careful! The magic will run out at the stroke of midnight.

pokemon: dana (dialga), pokemon: blacky (misdreavus), !public post, pokemon: uxie, pokemon: eli (arbok), pokemon: alex (zapdos), pokemon: bob heather (arceus), pokemon: pele (groudon)

Why so?

Maybe I would not like the idea of being a real human, even if it is such a short period of time.

But in such a long while...there must be a tiny amount of curiosity?

I suppose I'll have to go as a human, won't I? A mask won't do much to hide something so small and so yellow.

Something will have to be done about my ears, perhaps. You'll be attending as a female, Original One?

Ah, it's not often I have the pleasure of catching you in one of your more playful moods. I'm not quite decided which gender to choose, either, strictly between you and me. Perhaps this little ball will be more fun than I anticipated!

I don't understand. What do you mean by "fully human"?

Some Pokemon, in their human-like phase they had adopted still have pieces of their normal forms that could easily give away their identity. For example, the Charizards here have wings and their flaming tails.

Ah. I was wondering what causes that, actually.

How a Pokemon desires to be human plays a part into it. There are those, like Dana who are extremely proud of their heritage and this is reflected in how they look. The wilder ones also tend to adopt more Pokemon-like characteristics. With good training, most can look fully human if they wish, but many do not.

I recall this as a festival of bonfires and summer's end, where the otherworldly would walk among man. Old tradition, Mother of many colours.

It has changed a lot over the years, has it not? I prefer the version where the kids go out to gather sweets, personally.

You are coming, right?

Hallow's Eve was more fitting as an occasion to honour the dead with offerings, rather than the children. They grow too spoiled to sanctify the departed.

What reason have I to attend?
