Goombario was outside, in a field. He had two reasons for coming out here.

One, he needed some fresh air badly. Spending hours like a prisoner in his own dorm had taken a number on him. Screw the curfew -- he wouldn't have gotten any sleep and gone completely batty by morning.

Two, he used up all the beetles calming down Frankly. The spider was asleep now, but come morning, he'd be awake, cranky, and hungry. Goombario did not want to have to go through what he did earlier again.

He was in his human form now, searching the grounds for anything that could make an acceptable treat. He wasn't very far from where Daisy may land if she went through, but he had not looked up, and had no idea of the drama unfolding so close by.

Yoshi was wandering the school grounds, blowing the whistle that Professor Olimar had given him to help him find Raphael. It had been several weeks now, and there was still no sign of Yoshi's beloved pet. Yoshi, however, was brimming with optimism regardless, and every evening he marched diligently around the school searching until well after sundown. It was a mystery as to why other students hadn't started complaining about the constant whistle-blowing.

*FWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!*

"Raphael! Yoshi is looking for you!" Yoshi called, but there was no answer.

"Hmmm. Raphael pikmin must be somewhere else!" Yoshi said and started marching again. He glanced around as best as he could in the dim light. Left, right, down... up!

Parakarry was rushing around the school grounds with a package in his arms.

He had scoured the entire post office that afternoon but he finally found it...he found the present Daisy's father had sent to her. He was heading to the girl's dormitory.

"This should cheer Daisy up!"

After some searching he finally lost his way. "Confound it..which way was the girl's dormitory again?" he mumbled.

Shaymin had been concerned with her roommates behavior lately and once she saw their dorm empty its was clear something wasn't right. She decided that Daisy needed someone to talk to, or just someone to keep her company at this time, and so Shaymin began to search everywhere she could think of.

After a short while she began to tire, still not use to her human form, but was not going to give up. While catching her breath she tried thinking of the places she was yet to check. It just seem to click, and she thought out loud, "the roof."

Taking off running Shaymin found a ladder leading up to the roof top. Breathlessly she began her climb up, and once she reached the top she saw just who she was looking for, Daisy. Unlike she had hoped her roommate was not just sitting or crying but standing on the edge of the building with her back to Shaymin.

Katt was doing her usual nighttime prowling, leaping from to rooftop and enjoying the night air.

It didn't take long for her to notice a familiar silhouette on a neighboring rooftop.

The hell? She wondered. What is SHE doing up here? She leapt to the adjacent building and got a closer look.

Then she realized what Daisy was about to do.

She wouldn't.

She wouldn't DARE...

"What the FLYING FUCK do you think you're doing?!"

Daisy briefly, and emotionless, turned to look at Katt for a second... but immediately turned her head back.

"... Go away," she said, monotone.
