It didn't appear to be an office. And the signs directing toward it actually defined it as a 'counsellor's office'. Except she didn't really know what a counsellor was. And she hadn't thought to even look it up because it was the first time she'd seen the directions for it. But she got the feeling it had been there even previously. Unfortunately for her, her nose had been stuck in a book far too often for it to do any sort of good.
She liked how everything was arranged, though. It seemed so very comfortable. To be fair, she had yet to see any other place in the academy like it. And she was very... intrigued by the whole setup. She scratched at her cheek idly with her left hand as she popped her head in to take a look around. And there was Kojiro, who...
"So you decided to become a counselor instead?" Voile asked. "That's really quite a jump. What classes were you taking when you were a student?"
Didn't being a counselor at least require some form of background in the field? Voile couldn't picture herself trying to teach anyone anything if she didn't have the necessary knowledge for it...
"Oh..." She blinked and smiled a bit, "This is my first time coming here. I'm not really sure what counselors are for just yet, so I'm not sure if I should say that I hope to see more of you in the future. But if counselors also help with classes and scheduling, then perhaps I'll see more of you anyway."
There was a glance around his... office, she guessed it was. "Do you live here?" In hindsight, she figured it was a stupid question, but it seemed comfortable if not the least bit... him.
Voile nodded and filed that away for future reference. So in the case that she ever needed help, Kojiro would be able to provide that. She didn't think she'd need him to, but it was nice to know there was someone around for that kind of thing. Idly, she wondered if he'd be able to help Cyrus. She hadn't been capable of it, but perhaps Kojiro had just what was needed for such an occasion.
His response made her pause momentarily. "I've never seen an office look like this before. The rest of the staff doesn't mind? It's very soothing, so I don't see why they'd have a problem with it, but... You never know." Perhaps some of the faculty had jealousy issues.
Cyrus. Ahahaha. That would be a tough cookie to crack...
"No, I haven't gotten any complaints so far. Many people have complimented me for it." That was one thing he was glad for. "I wanted to make my office as relaxing as possible."
"It is relaxing," she reassured him. Not that he needed her to do so. But it seemed perfectly natural to say as much to him. "I like it a lot. Given your position, it's important to have a place so comforting. I think it does its job very well!"

She thought she'd seen before.
"Uhm. Hello?" she asked as she blinked.

Kojiro watched her as she quickly inspected his office. "No, this is simply my office. I stay in the teachers dorms."
