What: Nabooru is bringing Shinon his dodongo. ;3; And saying goodbye to a faithful friend. And saying hello to a douche bag.

And he was quick, which caused most of her blood to run cold. He'd been waiting. Mostly certainly not eager, she had to assume. Why would he ever be eager or remotely pleased to see her? She was spending too much time with Byrne. She'd already gotten accustomed to one guy hating her guts so completely, why not add a second to the roster? And stupidly, it didn't occur to her that she should have known that in the first place.

She crouched down to the dodongo and patted him gently on the head before she gestured into Shinon's room. "Be good." Then she rose again, reached for the satchel at her waist and offered it to the redhead, "Feed these to him, in moderation."

Once he'd taken her satchel, she took a couple steps back and unsure of what to do with her hands, she finally began to fidget. Fidgeting. That was as transparent as one could get, in her opinion.

"You should take good care of him. I would think you have an imprint on him. I took care of him while you were aware. He's well-behaved and good-mannered. Protective. He'll be a good companion for you."

It was like pulling teeth.

"I was just here to give you your dodongo," Nabooru began.

Did she want to go inside? Not that there was really anything keeping her stationed there. She could have just as easily turned around and left.

"A few minutes, I guess, would be all right." She finally nodded and showed herself in, careful to keep her hands to herself and not to go poking and prodding through his things.

Ganondorf then came in and smacked up a bitch for that.

And by a bitch I mean Shinon.

She paused momentarily and looked over her shoulder to him. Then she turned and just eyed him for a time.

Then she shook her head. "No. I wasn't going to say anything. I don't need to. I didn't need to in the first place. You're allowed to do whatever it is you want to do, Shinon. Or need to do. Whatever the case is."

Because it's selfish of me to think otherwise.

And this conversation was just too hard for her to have. "How I feel doesn't exactly matter. The more important thing is that you're all right."
