let's ride the butterflies. )
There were beetles and mayflies along the bookshelves. Two praying mantises in Agitha's hair, one on each side, atop the ponytail holders. Jacque was on her hairpiece, and his mate elsewhere. Probably the pillow of her bed. And they all had a glorious glow about them. Fireflies lit up the closet with a few of their other friends. Twenty-four bugs at the very least, and soon there would be more.
The knock came as very little surprise and she happily opened it, watching Jacque fly up and flutter about N's face curiously. "He's just getting to know you. Would you like to come in?" she asked as she used her right hand to hold her skirts as she

She almost thought she was pleading with him, but then as if to demonstrate her point, she withdrew a satchel from her skirts and offered up a small purple rupee. "See? It's almost like you can see through it. All rupees are like that. The different colors represent their values."
Reply
"That looks incredible. What other colors are there? I know little of their values, nor does that matter to me." He just wants to know.
Reply
"Hm... Red, blue, yellow, purple, orange, silver, and gold. They're just gems to some people, but they're awfully important in Hyrule."
And not that N knew it, but Agitha sure had a lot of orange ones in her satchel. Not that he would have known what that meant if he did know.

Gee, I wonder why?
"I suppose you wouldn't mind if I left right now to gather berries then. It would only take me a few minutes," N asserted with a smile. "I would be back very quickly."

She smiled, a little shyly. It'd be the first time she went out with someone else. What did they call that? A date? No. Maybe not.

"I think that is what Archeops prefers. I think I would also like that. That is, if you don't horribly mind." He doesn't see why not, though. Agitha is just... so nice! He already feels comfortable around her.

In haste, she wandered through her part of the room, carefully moving any bugs who got in her way until she managed to locate her basket. It was the one she usually used to keep her bugs in, but she imagined it could be used for berries and what not.
Proudly, she lifted it and waved it back and forth with a smile. "Here we are. Think this will work, you two?"

He nodded giddily as Archeops squawked with agreement. "I think that would do wonderfully. Berries are just slightly larger than strawberries, so a good amount should fit in there." Possibly.
"Now, do you remember your way to the greenhouse? If not, I may lead the way. I go there all the time."

Agitha would have laughed if he'd said anything like that to her. And then she probably would have agreed with him.
She eyed her door and nodded toward it with a single motion of the head. "Oh, please. After you. I'll be happy to follow along." As if to reassure the other two with her words, she gestured with her free hand, holding her basket in the preoccupied one.

He opened the door and motioned with his hand.
"After you."
... and Archeops, as the bird just bounded right out the door.

"Thank you!" She swayed from side to side as she waited for him outside of her room. "You really don't mind going out and about, N?"
Reply
"Of course not. I do what I must for my Pokemon every day. I would commit to very grand sacrifices just for them," he admitted as Archeops nodded with assertion. Yes, his trainer is always very devoted.
"I would even give my life if it meant for all Pokemon to be happy and safe. My adoration for Pokemon... it knows no bounds. Do you understand that?"

Agitha was quiet as she listened to him, with his dedication and ambition and persistence. How old was he? He seemed a lot older than her when he talked like that, but then she had to remember that often times she sounded older than she truly was.
"I don't have any Pokémon, but I think how you feel about yours is how I feel about my bugs. They are my family and the only ones I really have. I'd have no difficulty wanting to protect them with myself." She nodded firmly, as if to confirm her words.

N didn't horribly mind a bit of a lack of personal space. He, too, got far too close to people when he honestly shouldn't. He didn't see why not. As long as they didn't get unsanitary, then why be so apart from them? Doesn't closeness promote good feeling anyhow? It shouldn't be limited to just romance, he thinks.
Of course, this just makes him look kind of creepy to some people, but he never really caught the cues for that.
"You don't have a family apart from your bugs? Not even your... parents?" The last word came out a tad forced. Hm, strange.

She finally shook her head at N. "No." She wasn't sure what else to say, or if she was actually supposed to talk about what happened. All the same, an easy answer was an easy answer.
"Does Archeops have parents?" she finally asked as she blinked. "Or are you his parent?"
