How weird. Because it seemed like Peach had the very same idea. She was perfectly fine with all of the new students from the rival school. In fact, she was happy to see so many new fresh faces at once.
After her classes, she went by the student kitchen with a cookbook of her own. Only to find her other pink blonde friend there.
Glancing up from the recipe book, Paula wondered who would venture into the student kitchen. The list was rather limited, so she had a few guesses. It also helped that she recognized the voice.
"Hello, Peach," she smiled. "I hope you don't mind sharing the kitchen space. I was just thinking about making a few things for the new students."
"Oh is that so?" Peach said calmly, with zero alarm in her expression. "I don't mind that sort of thing at all. I was actually planning on the same thing."
She then situated herself on the work bench next to Paula.
"Yeah... And I was just starting to get used to people from Smash Academy being from different places. It's incredible to think that the world is really that big."
It didn't take long to mix all of the ingredients together. With help from Peach, the work seemed to go must faster.
"Have you met any of them yet? I must admit I've only crossed paths with a few of them in the hallways."
One sheet of delicious cookies in the oven, a bazillion more to go.
"A new music instructor?" If Paula remembered correctly, wasn't Duster also a music instructor? She hadn't stopped by his class too often but perhaps she should, if only to say hello to both him and the new teacher.
"Maybe I'll take a peek into his class. I do enjoy music. And it couldn't hurt to learn more, right?"

Noticing Peach's cookbook, she asked, "Did you already have something in mind? Maybe we could work together."

"I'm sure that's nothing to worry, there's so many people from so many different places."

"I have met out new music instructor. He goes by the name of Waka. Delightful man, if not a bit of a mysterious one."
Doop. Cookies. Meet oven. Peach set the timer to the done time.
