THE BEACH - 22nd - NIGHT paneldeflambe July 23 2011, 00:48:14 UTC
"Woooooooooooo!"

Flare was not wasting any time. The beach? Her favorite thing ever. She didn't want to stick around in the hotel for too long, lest she burn something or... the whole place down. We just can't let that happen, shall we? She'll just use that place to sleep and get food.

Oh and I guess she's wearing this.

She couldn't let this beach be without something HOT and ROUSING, though. She decided to set up a nice bonfire and do some traditional fire fairy ~magic tricks~ around the bonfire.

Oh yes, and she brought food with her. Hot wings and s'mores makings? Yeeeeah. Also, if anyone wants to play russian roulette wings and risk serious mouth burn, Flare totally brought that, too.

Blacky was seated on a straw mat somewhere close to the fire, but far enough to be safe from any straying sparks. She was glad the getaway was lasting more than a single day; she could sleep until the sun went down and not miss out on all the fun.

For now she was content to watch Flare's display, helping herself to marshmallows straight out of the bag.

Because missing out on all the fun would be so totally not cool. At all.

Nor would missing out on roasted marshmallows be good. Flare couldn't let that fly.

"Hey! Gimme a few marshmallows, lady!"

"Lady?"

Well, it was probably better than a few other things Blacky could have been called. At least "lady" was accurate in that she was female and also refined. Or at least she pretended to be.

She grabbed another marshmallow and offered up the rest of the bag to Flare.

His right hand arose and as he shifted, he attempted to keep his tiara in one very simple place. His hair. He had not forgotten the way bodies of water carried with them breezes, winds, humidity, and other not so luxurious companions. He could never say that he had gone on a vacation of sorts, really had no idea what it was he had hoped to accomplish and when he really considered it, he didn't know if he was meant to achieve anything ( ... )

By evening time, Cyrus had settled down somewhat. He'd calmed himself from those wild thoughts from earlier, and was by that point sitting on the beach with a book.

Away from the main beach, of course. He could never stand such public places, and so sought a place that reminded him of Sunyshore.

He'd never see that place again, would he? It was almost upsetting, to think that everything he ever knew, everything that shaped him, would cease to exist by his hand. But it was for the best, and that was the only thing that kept his immature body from crying.

The book was almost nothing, just a collection of photographs from around the world, but it was enough to hold his interest.

What was that...?

A... child. Reading a book. A child? Marth's eyebrows furrowed in thought. How well acquainted was he with everyone in the academy? When he really considered it, he knew very well that adults were one thing and children were something entirely differently.

Clearly something would have to change when he got back. Likely starting with children. After all, there was no issue when it came to caring for those back in Akaneia, but things there were very different there than they were away from the homeland.

Finally he edged over by Cyrus and in a rather quiet tone as to not catch the lad off guard, he spoke. "Are you enjoying your book?"

Someone else was there enjoying the night sky on the beach with her beach dress. She was in love with the atmosphere. She stood pretty close to ocean and let the ends of the waves hit her sandal-ed feet. The wind was right around her as well, which was perfect for her. The scent of the ocean was blown more in her face that way. It was just a heavenly night.

TIKI BAR - 22nd - AFTERNOON badasscopters July 23 2011, 01:00:54 UTC
Well, who else would really be here but a totally crazy alcoholic? A totally crazy alcoholic that enjoys pina coladas, at that, because he has three. All lined up for himself in cute little tiki glasses. He also has tiki carvings loaded fries because why the hell not.

Care to join a pilot for a cool drink? That, or just hang without even talking to him. Hang with other people! Just bar it up!

And N is here, too.

Drinking a sissy virgin drink and eating sweet potato waffle fries.

Why? Because he's a sissy he just can.

Yeah well. Nothing sissy about virgin drinks if you are a an actual virgin who can't handle his drink. (...Wait)

After swimming a while, Mac came to the bar for a relaxing spell in the shade. He's still wet. He came right from the ocean. Mac was cracking a root beer and sat down next to N intentionally to be his chummy self toward one of his best chums.

"Hey N, how's it goin'?"

Yep, start from there.

Being chummy is pretty easy, not gonna lie. At least it's easy with N once one gets past the creepy manchild factor. That part? Not such an easy feat. At least Mac can pull that off?

N looks to his side, straw still stuck smack dab in the center of his mouth. He looked... kind of derpy, honestly.

"Mac! Hello. It's going fairly well. I've never been to an island like this before." Oh god here we go. Blabbing. "There is even more sand than there was in the stadium and this decor is so... strange. So new."

The Beach - 22nd ALL DAY (Morning, Noon, Night) boxingmidget July 23 2011, 02:11:25 UTC
You better bet Mac was going to have the best time he ever had. Screw the hotel for now, it was beach time. There was plenty of time FOR MORE ADVENTURES later on. He wore his new swimsuit...which is just the black and orange tighter swim trunks he got when he did that one day of Orange Star boot camp.

Yes, he is getting tanner by the moments.

You will find him in either: in the ocean playing around, at the bar getting a virgin drink or beach fare food, or laying down on a towel (you might not find him here much since he had energy to spare).

At night though, he's outside catching the evening beach air. Maybe looking up as the stars come out. Should you find him at that time.

At night, BF decided to head out, opting for a night stroll and maybe sit and gaze at the stars for awhile. The atmosphere of the island at night was very nice in his opinion, he felt very relax.

After some time, he spotted someone familiar in the distance, BF waved to Mac as he approaches his friend.

Mac would agree. Never had he actually been on the beach at this hour. Ever. It felt so nice. Mac was sentimental, yes. He could be calm and enjoy relaxing things. He was just kind of sitting on the sand relatively close to the ocean.

Of course, he spotted BF as he came up. Mac was happy to see him as always.

"Hey!" Mac yelled out. "BF, whatcha doin' out this late?"

BF, however, didn't like to shout. When he was closer to Mac, he replied in his typically small voice, "oh, I'm just out for an evening stroll, it's a lovely evening for one."

"What about you, Mac?" He asked.

Sure Peach was seen in the daytime catching up on the stuff around the hotel. She didn't get to the beach until the more quiet hours. No bathing suit, just this.

And the quiet hours were the ones Riley liked best. He learned from his last endeavour on the beach in the stadium and was dressed more appropriately in this, in blue, art pending, with his hat on. But he was a man with a mission... sorta.

"Good evening, m'lady." he said as he took his hat off politely to Peach, when he spotted her. "The breeze is lovely this evening."

Peach knew a gentleman when she saw one. So she went to do a polite curtsy to go along with his removal of the hat. She was just thinking how much of nice company this man would be, nothing really else from that.

"Good evening, good sir," Peach responded respectively. "It sure is. I love the beach at night."

"I think so as well, in the evening where the water is tranquil and the air beset with an unsullied beauty, usually."

Riley had put his hat back on. Because let's face it, he liked Peach. A lot. A whole lot. He had spent some time earlier in the Tiki Bar drinking (not that much mind you) but enough to feel slightly less inhibited. He came to the academy under the volition to change himself and included in that, it was going to involve being honest about these sorts of feelings.

"Though the night's not as beautiful as you."

He was staying calm. Impressively so. He didn't want to run, but he just wished that this situation stayed in his head rather than playing out.
