He kind of felt like a jerk, having her bring up an obviously painful subject. How did someone even cope with losing their entire planet? He didn't want to press the matter any.

His tail flicked just a bit at the end. This was starting to sound like something he'd heard before.

"Andross, right?" Fox didn't appear outwardly disturbed by this. After all, Wolf had already told him that he'd defeated Andross a second time somewhere in the future. But he couldn't help but be at least somewhat troubled by the news.

"O'Donnell kind of filled me in, though he wasn't exactly generous in the information department. This really fills in the blanks."

Fox nodded as she finished speaking. This was kind of a lot to take in, but he was managing it well enough.

"It's really kind of odd having things I haven't even experienced yet explained to me in the past tense. And I never thought I'd have to deal with that guy again..."

He sighed, shrugging slightly. "Oh well. Can't be helped right now, I guess. How many years has it been? Since, I guess, between my time and yours?"

Quietly flickering her tail again, she continued, "However, I must agree, it must be a bit odd to hear this information as it has happened and at the same time in a past tense."

She slowly looked out towards the windows and huffed quietly. "I just hope that that is the last you will see of him. He has brought such destruction to innocent creatures of all kinds."
