Her first reaction was to scoff. Such a simpering, feeble response from a man who had clearly been carrying that same habit of self-delusion from Shadow Moses. Too naive to accept his own death, clearly. So, they had all perished... But what of the twin Snakes?

Steeling her grip on her rifle, she propped up the gun in an attempt to use it as a crutch to stand. With a grunt, Wolf commanded her legs to obey her. To stand. And slowly, they did.

"Don't be foolish," she scolded. "You only call death by another name. This changes nothing... we are dead."
