TD-28/Greenhouse - Erika hasprettiestmon January 21 2011, 00:31:01 UTC

((Erika spends an equal amount of time in her room and in the greenhouse, so you can find her in either location at practically any point of the day (...or night, half the time.) She returns to Kanto early Sunday morning and returns Tuesday night.

... You might have to wake her up.

... You might also want to watch out for Tangrowth.))

At times, Mac would pass by the greenhouse on his jogs. And on some days, Mac would even stop for a moment and stop by. Just to say hello to his friend and teacher. Maybe her Pokemon were hanging around today too. He peeked his head in to see what was going on.

But it came out more like "ihisughikgjnaeriuhbwoobleyisugdhfbikjgfwoobisugh!!!1!" as she shambled at him with SURPRISING SPEED.

OH MY GOD. A giant vine monster is CHARGING. Mac recognized the Pokemon so he's not really all that scared but he's SHOCKED. Look at Tangrowth GO. He is just looking her way as she's coming to him. WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT?

Well, what an interesting sort of events, huh. He didn't know what to think of it all. Mac's face was just being smooshed by those vines. And he stood there. He tried to say, "Hey there, Tangrowth". But the smooshies made it come out like, "Mmmey mmwere, Tuungrommph."

There was another tense moment of staring before Tangrowth seemed to decide she knew what she was going to be doing with this boxer. The course of action apparently involved trying to pick up Mac under her arm and barreling deeper into the growth of the green house.

The plan probably would have succeeded to some extent if it hand't been for the gentle chiding coming from behind her. "Tangrowth. None of that today, miss."

"Woobleihgihjkranrizgjkfh."

Well whatever that meant. Tangrowth was gone as quickly as she had appeared, leaving the poor boxer alone with the gym leader who looked like she had just woken up from a nap. She hid a small yawn behind her sleeve and smiled at Mac. "Hello."

Mac was admittedly a little freaked out when Tangrowth was picking him up, what's she going to do. He was ready to plead that she'd put him down. Not with aggression, but with...oh dear god, he just wants DOWN. He was seriously about to say something until Erika came along. And Mac was totally cool because his feet were on the ground. Oh thank god.

He took a deep sigh from that and continued his merry business, shakeeee it off. "Hey, Miss Erika," he had said then. He did notice her tiredness. "I'm sorry, were you sleepin'?"

"Mm, just a catnap, I suppose... certainly nothing worth apologizing over," she assured him with a smile. "I do apologize for Tangrowth though. I think she was going to bring you to see me. ... I think." Erika looked off in the direction the giant ball of vines headed as she thought about it for a moment. Huh.

"Ah, but how are you today?"

Tangrowth, you are silly. But Mac forgives, okay. Even if he'll have vine nightmares for weeks now. "It was...surprisin' but I don't think she meant any harm or anythin'. Didn't seem it. So she's fine. Just gave me a bit of a shock."

No, it was nearing "scare". But, oh well.

"Oh, me? Y'know, just gettin' through normal stuff."

Normal stuff plus a number of problems. But, oh well.

Erika chuckled. "She never means harm, but she can certainly be... surprising, as you say. I'll remind her later that there are better ways to escort someone through the greenhouse."

She made a motion for him to follow her, and they could have a nice walk. "Classes and things? How does your semester look this time around?"

Mac shrugged, he seemed to drop the issue already. Pretty forgiving, he is.

And as Erika gestured, Mac followed. Idle talk about classes seemed fine. "It's lookin' good. I got a good set of classes. Plenty to keep me busy."

She nodded along. "That's good. I hope not too busy. It's good to have a break now and again," said the pot to the kettle. "And how has the boxing been?" Erika admittedly was not very in the know about the sport Mac participated in. Was this a busy time of year for it? A slow spurt? "... Does it work in seasons like other games or..."

And then Mac talked so much about boxing, Erika's ear fell off.

Mac perked when boxing was brought up, as always. "Great! It's been goin' great! If I ain't in the ring, I trainin' for it everyday like always." Mac replied happily. Hmm, and a question was asked. "Well, the league I'm in is year round. Matches are scheduled all the time. Boxin' takes no season breaks at the WVBA. Heck, my next match is around the corner."

Well that sounded all very busy. Erika imagined it must have been a tougher lifestyle than Mac let on, but as long as it was something that made him happy. She smiled. "I see! That must be very exciting then."
