EVA hadn't noticed any real differences in Miller after he came back after Christmas. Although, she had noticed he was talking to other people on the network about Big Boss. There was no way it was just a coincidence. It began to bother her... How did he know Big Boss? Because EVA couldn't put two and two together to figure out that Kazuhira Miller was the same person as McDonell Miller. She was anxious to ask Kaz about the whole thing.

When Kaz knocked, EVA was still getting ready. "Just a minute!" she called out. She pulled on one of her billion black cocktail dresses and double checked her hair and make-up. When she was finished gussying up, she opened her door to greet him.

"Ready to go?"

Liquid honestly found himself staring for a moment. There was just something about her... He couldn't place his finger on it though. It certainly wasn't an attraction... it was something else - but what?

"Yep. You look lovely tonight. I almost fell under dressed for the occasion!" Although most people would say Liquid was over dressed because of the shirt

Something about Miller caught EVA's attention right away as well. On the network, she hadn't sensed a change, but something was different about this Miller and the one she had met in the laundry room, weeks ago. He had mentioned being sucked back into his own time, then returning to Smash. Maybe more time had passed than he had let on.

"Thank you," she replied, smiling. "Don't worry, you look fine."

She stepped out of her dorm, and locked it behind herself.

"So, how was your holiday?" he asked as they headed out of the teacher's dorm building. Keep the conversation casual... Liquid wasn't entirely sure what she and Miller had discussed offline or how well they really knew each other.
