Daisy had to muscle her way past a couple of overzealous shoppers whose arms were loaded with presents. "Geez!" she said. "Think we waited long enough to come out here?"

Peach was also trying to make sure crazy shoppers weren't trying to ram into them. Aaaa, it was also kind loud out here. "I don't think it could've been later! Let's hope we could still find anything, dear!"

"Oh we will, come hell or high water!" Daisy vowed. When they finally found a place where they had some elbow room, she asked Peach, "Do you have a list?"

Peach moved closer to where she was sure Daisy could hear her. She reached into her purse and pulled out a small piece of paper. "I have...yes, I have a bit of one."

She took a glance at it and then around the mall.

"Is there a place we should try to go to first? Have anything in mind?"

"Well, the clothing stores are nearby, and so that we're not fighting against the crowds all the way down, we should probably start there," Daisy suggested. She took Peach's arm and tried to navigate their way through the throngs of Christmas shoppers, until they had entered the store and at last had some breathing room. She sighed in relief.
