Wild ESPEON appeared! punchyourbrains November 11 2010, 00:29:48 UTC
In her exploratory probing of Sasha's... gain, Euphrosyne knew this was going to be bad. She knew better that to take food from all offered hands presented to her, and this hand had very much turned out to be balancing poison on its palm.

The espeon darted back towards the door in a purple streak. She did not bother scratching her small paws against the old wood; likely no one would hear her. A flash of her limited telekinesis tried to fling it open, and she found herself nearly running into it, the sealed door spiting her past history of success with this method.

Her tail tips quivered, and already, so cleanly, she could taste what ominous presences were tickling the air. They were crisp crackles on the tongue, old memories of past lives soaked in the wood, squeezing themselves out like sap at the call of a perfect night like this.

She did not like this at all.

And then...the door of the mansion swung wildly as the rest of Red Team arrived, Sasha first in line. The mansion was nothing like the picture, but at least it looked old, ancient even and so chic! ...if she knew what chic was.

"WOW! This is so much better than the cave or the dorms!"

Which as Sasha took the lead, something was quick to fall on her head, regardless of whatever species she was. It might have made the mental equivalent of a scream before impact.

Euphrosyne almost landed on her feet.

In particular, she landed on her purple chest, which knocked the wind out of her and had those tiny lungs huffing and puffing for precious air as she recovered her sense.

Even Kojiro had been surprised by the door. This... just seemed too cliché. And being the most zen of them all, he could feel the bad energy seeping out of the place. It made his hairs stand on end.

"Nhh.. Sasha.. I really don't think this is a good idea..."

Neris wasn't expecting to win a mansion. Did she even enter in a contest? But she won a free mansion, didn't she? When she got to the location written on the letter, she had to double check the piece of paper for the second time, since the mansion looked completely different! When the address has been reconfirmed, she decided she should take a look around inside the mansion.

When she finally entered the mansion, the door suddenly closed behind her with a click, causing a small 'eep!' to escape from Neris' mouth. Maybe she should have stayed at school...

Just as the door locked shut for the night, only one sad little ghost appeared about two inches in front of Neris.

"My friends all left me here..." it said sadly. "Will you stay here and be my friend?"

Another scream almost left the fairy's mouth as the ghost suddenly appeared in front of her face.

"Ah... Uhm." She stumbled around for words. "...I don't think I can be your friend, I'm sorry."

This whole 'free mansion' deal seemed ominously familiar. Although Luigi was still very hopeful that had actually won a not-haunted mansion, he came prepared with his Poltergust 3000. Yes, he was still gullible enough to actually go to the mansion instead of hiding at home.

Luigi flicked on his flashlight and waved it around the room, observing his surroundings. Unfortunately, that didn't last long, as Luigi had dropped his flashlight on the ground when he jumped due to the sound of the door slamming behind him. Was that the lock clicking? That was the lock clicking. Damn. He picked up his now broken flashlight, frowning at the dark room. Maybe he shouldn't have bought such a cheap flashlight.

Well, at least there weren't any ghosts. Yet.
