THIS IS YOUR DCMC CONCERT THREAD - MORE TO COMEpkwallstapleAugust 28 2010, 22:28:28 UTC
Duster. Duster was still under the influence of last week's onsen trip. It had lasted a strangely long time with him - alas his was a simple soul, easily overridden and controlled by outside forces. Surely he would return to himself soon enough, but for now, dear reader, for now, he was still in drunken party mode. People may have noticed him for the past week sometimes lifting his shirt up and flashing his manly (re: fuzzy, not terribly impressive) chest at random intervals. For some reason.
He'd arranged for his old band members to play at some party thing that this princess was throwing (awesome, bro) and they were going to ROCK. OUT.
And also there were like four kegs of beer. Free beer. Free beer for everyone. It wasn't a party unless there's some brewskis, bro. Lots of brewskis.
And also an outdoors stage set up with drums, keyboard, guitar, sax, and double bass, all waiting to be played. Oh, yes. Tonight was going to rock hard.
Brock never got to attend very many of these. There was always a gym to take care of, siblings to watch, and now classes to teach. So even if he'd never heard a single song DCMC ever played, he was going to attend, because it had to be fun.
He wasn't really one to drink, but he figured he could make an exception because it was a concert, so he made his way to the keg and the afro'd man standing next to it. The gym leader recognized him from the poster. "Are you in the band?"
