There was a knock at the door. "Hey, Sonic, open up," Wave called out to him. As far as she knew, he had just called her for some couple time. She was a little concerned about him, from his strange attitude after returning, and part of her was more than a little curious to find out what was up. But hey, play first, work later.
"Her voice seems oddly familiar..." Caliburn replied. Sonic gave him an odd look.
"Don't tell me she's..."
"Perhaps it would be for the best if you'd actually answer the door?" The Blue Hedgehog sighed. This entire situation was so ridiculous he wouldn't believe it if he wasn't part of it.
"You sure about that?" Wave asked, stepping inside and looking around. "Because I could've sworn I heard you talking to someone in here... Something going on?"
"I love stories," she said, taking a seat on his bed. It was hard to mistake her concern and confusion, even in that sarcastic remark.
Before he started though, she saw Caliburn next to her. "When did you get this?" she asked curiously, grabbing for Caliburn's grip. "And how is it standing like that?"

A second later, he opened the door.
"Hey! Come on, the place is pretty empty."

"How about if I tell you a story." He patted next to his bed.
