That depends on the individual. A beginner might want to start off with 10, 15 minutes of meditation in the mornings before the hustle-and-bustle of life takes place, making it easier to establish a meditative atmosphere. After plenty of practice, it becomes possible to successfully meditate for longer periods of time, say, half an hour.
Meditation is not a requirement, however. But it's recommended if you feel you need better control of your magic.
The most i could do is twelve minutes, yanno I kinda need this stuff to switch forms n' all, but I dun feel like it's 'nough sometimes and I can't transform anything when I'm rattled. Are trance states easier for stupid people?
