[Basically a place where you can do whatever you want. Hang out with other student dudes, play vidja games under the desk, scribble on the board, talk to your teacher, pull your best friend’s hair and say Joojoo did it... FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF CLASSTIME CR. Beware of Ulki in the background... he’s listening to your secrets watching youuuu]

Lemmy sat at his desk, holding and petting what appeared to be a ball of lava with eyes.

He had the goofiest, hugest grin on his face, and is you listened carefully, you might hear some small purring noises. Was it coming from the lava ball?

[Selene was a good, obedient student, and kept perfectly quiet in her seat. She gave a friendly wave to her teacher from her seat, but nothing further than that. What a little goody-two-shoes.]

[O-oh, waves! How nice! Rhys waves back and smiles happily as he goes fishing in his drawer for paperclips. 8) ]

[And here comes a Selene with her answer~]

I hear that substance abuse can lead to truly terrible problems in both family and the victim. It does seem that it can horribly worry the family and distress them, most certainly so if the victim initiates bickering with the poor dears.

It can also cause many health problems, I believe. Ah, what are they, what are they...? [She ponders for a moment before she continues.] I do know that alcohol can affect your liver and your brain, sadly, and perhaps even very many places in your body. I fear I cannot remember them very clearly, however.

And that's it for now because Essay's sleepy. B);;

[Rhys nodded along with her answers]

That's right! Not only do those types of potent substances affect the body's ability to function, but they also do much in the ways of hurting your loved ones. Good answer. You seem to know a lot about the unfortunate implications.

I do my studies, so I would only hope that I do~ [She actually forgot a lot of how the specific areas of the body even got harmed. Oh well, at least she got the general gist. She may do a lot of research, but she is still not the smartest lady out there.] I spend much of my time reading, and so I learn about whatever I can every single day.

"Alcohol may be a natural substance, but that doesn't make it safe to drink," Rhys began. "What makes alcohol a problem is that in most cases, it is drunk in excess. Too much drinking leads to impaired judgment and even personality changes, which isn't good for you, much the people around you. You can be completely out-of-character! Believe me, I've seen interesting things happen to... well, otherwise sensible people. Ha...” Did he look at Shinon over there in the corner for a second? Because I think he did. Yeah, well there are a million more people he could be looking at- O-oh no the sniper saw him glance over there so maybe Rhys looks a little uncomfortable all of a sudden. "It is a depressant that slows your reaction time- which is what depressants do to the brain. That's why caution is key. As you may be aware, adults drink alcohol on many occasions, and usually there’s nothing wrong with it as long as it’s done every once in a while. But there are many risks involved, and it can also become an unhealthy addiction if ( ... )

"Very good! One of the biggest reasons why a teenager would drink is to fit in with their friends. It makes them feel older and part of the changing crowd."

Don't worry, Jeff. Rhys has noooo idea. YOU'RE SAFE. But your friends probably know.

Spinarak slowly raised her hand, only to pull it back down due to sudden "stage fright" and ducked her head, hoping the teacher hadn't noticed her hand start to raise.

Discussion #2: H-hugs not drugs 8( sicklypriest May 29 2010, 20:53:46 UTC
"Drugs have just about the same implications as alcohol- in fact, alcohol is considered by some to be a drug in and of itself. You don't act like yourself and, in the long term, everything that once meant something to you slowly decays until all that matters is the next high." There is a sympathetic sadness blinking in his eyes. "It... is terribly tragic, as the stories have it. Entire families are dragged apart. Beautiful dreams and aspirations for the future crumble under the authority drugs have on your body. And in the worst case... drugs can take your life ( ... )
