Who: Pit, Falco, spectators
What: A friendly spar
Where: FINAL DESTINATION
When: April 19th
Warnings: Fighting, as is typical with spars

If Falco had to summarize this school in one line, it'd be "so and so throw a hissy fit and start drama". Even he fell into this category. Needless to say, his first impression was not a very flattering one. ( Read more... )

Despite being avian in nature himself, Falco was incapable of actual flight. But that didn't make this over-confident pilot feel any less sure about himself. This was his first time seeing an...angel, especially fighting one, but all Pit was to him is a flying target. And he's dealt with those before.

Falco quickly fired several blaster shots in succession towards his opponent. Let's see if he can defend himself against those.

Shots! He would need to swerve out of the way, and swerve he did, tumbling like an airborne ballerina. But those missiles were fast like flecks of lightning- honestly, he hadn't been expecting that. He came out of that with a couple of singed feathers.

Pit landed on a platform after his maneuver and clicked his bow together. Two can play this game. With his bow raised, he plucked a light arrow from seemingly nowhere, held it taut, and released it. The projectory of the arrow was unpredictable; instead of shooting off into a straight line, it curved for Falco.

Falco caught the arrow with his two bare hands like a badass motherfucker

That dodge was....graceful, he'll give him that. But once he saw Pit holding up the bow and arrow, he prepared to perform a quick dodge of his own. And he would have succeeded if the trajectory of the arrow hadn't actually curved to follow him.

Wait. That's not how arrows worked!

The arrow made a gash on his already injured arm. Goddammit. Well, he still had his three other limbs. Falco held the blaster out again and began firing with renewed vigor at Pit, while running but still maintaining his distance. Maybe, just maybe, if he could take down the wings, Pit should be an easier target.

Pit made a tumble off the platform, dodging two of the projectiles that came hurling his way, and landed on the ground. The missiles would not cease their rapid barrage, and with a stroke of quick thought, Pit employed his mirror shield. Suddenly, a lustrous barricade was thrown in between the guarded angel and the incessant shower of charged blips, and any shots that pelted its reflective surface would retaliate and come ricocheting right back to their origin.

Shit!!

Falco raised an arm in defense as he was pelted by his own blaster shots, leaving scorch marks in his clothing and underneath. Dammit, just how many tricks did this kid have up his sleeve? and where did he pull the mirror out of? Attacking from a long range wouldn't work, so it was time for some close combat! So he began charging at Pit.
