What: Mesprit tries to befriend Nyx. Hilarity ensues.
Where: The girl's dorm hallways at first. Maybe somewhere else as it progresses.

Most mornings, practice ended earlier than this. On a normal day, Nyx would have already been asleep, and would be sparing the school's poor, innocent students from her foul temper. But this wasn't a normal morning, and so, Nyx was trudging her way back to her dorm for the day at around the same time the other students were making their way to class. For the most part, they were smart enough to give her a wide berth.

Except for Mesprit. Nyx hardly even looked up at the cheerful greeting, just muttering something unintelligible under her breath, and raising a hand to flip her the bird.

Mesprit flew a circle around her 'new friend.' Uninformed of any sort of slang or modern gestures, she took Nyx's actions as a half-hearted wave.

"Tired, huh?? That's too bad!! Are you going to go back to bed?? That'll probably make you feel better!!"

She flew another circle around Nyx with a huge smile across her face.

Nyx stopped walking, and finally looked up to see who was making the mistake of getting on her nerves now. Okay, so maybe Mesprit had mistaken the rude gesture as something else. That was okay. Nyx just had to make sure that Mesprit definitely got the hint this time.

So, she glared at her over her sunglasses, and gave a snarl. "Fuck off, sunshine. It's too early for this shit."

Mesprit fluttered backwards in the air, taken aback at the... well, my word... the language, the sarcasm, the snippy tone (that was TOTALLY uncalled for)... aimed in her direction. Still confused, she perked up, assuming a misunderstanding had occurred, and flew to face Nyx again.

Smiling, she piped: "Oh, but it's a GREAT morning! Look at how SUNNY it is!! Everyone around is happy, and I'm happy!! I'm happy to meet you!! What's your name??"
