"I remember seeing something like that back during one of the old adventures... if you think you should use them, then I don't mind. Just warn me before you do, okay?"

Tails walked alongside Espio to the training grounds, remembering his old spars with Knuckles. Hopefully he had gained some confidence in himself to do better.

Espio raised a brow. If it were in a real fight, the opponent would probably not say exactly when they were going to use their weapons... But, this was only a sparring session, so it was reasonable to announce to the other. Espio wasn't really used to this.

"I do not mind either way. It is your choice."

Better to let your sparring partner know before you lop his arms and legs off. Tails shrugged. "Long as you don't use them close-range, then I guess it's okay."

"Alright." Espio responded in acknowledgment. Once they got to the fighting area Espio did a quick warming up before getting into a ready position.
