First Biking Times and Now Gym Times---With Daisy!

And there was Daisy, arriving shortly after him, dressed in her own usual work-out clothes: a yellow tank top and orange bicycle shorts. Commence nosebleed. When she arrived, she set her duffle bag down, and said, "Hey, Mac! Weren't waiting long I hope?"

"Nah, not at all!" said Mac as he started getting his things together. Trying to prevent nosebleeds. Okay. Now he must try to make conversation and calm down his nerves (which, luckily, weren't showing yet). This was an outing for friends and nothing else. Anything to not make Daisy feel uncomfortable. Okay. "So, how've you been today?"

"Can't complain!" she announced, immediately doing a few warmup stretches, holding her arms above her head and leaning side to side. "How about you? Liking it here so far?"

"Heck, I like here a lot!" Mac replied with enthusiasm. Mac started doing some stretches himself. Hard to believe it has aready been a few months since Mac came to the school. Crazy things might have happened over that time that may or may not have been fun, but afterwards it felt like he had an adventure. And they became cherished memories. "Glad I came." That response came out even more sincere than the last one.

"Oh, I think I've heard of it," she explained. "Never seen it though."

"It's in my hometown! The city's pretty big itself so it might not seem like a big place but it's pretty busy there. Even if there ain't a match, the gym's open there for professionals to hang out," Mac replied.

"Oh, neat!" she said. "So you're fighting in the WVBA? How many fights have you won?"

[boxingmidget]

"Eight, won two belts. I just got in the World Circuit where the big shots are," again, the modesty is showing here. "I kinda left for school before my next match so some of the guys at that circuit are kinda pissed at me, haha." A long pause. He shuddered to himself. Wait, he didn't want her to think he was being a coward or anything. "But I could finally afford to go back to school! I had to take the chance, y'know? My spot's still there, so when I get back I'll be ready for 'em!"

"That's great!" she said. "Winning two belts takes a lot of skill! Congratulations!"

Ahhh all this praise...Mac flustered quite a bit now and smiled meekly. "T-thanks..."

"Got any recordings of some of your title fights?" she asked hopefully.

"I, uh, think you might find 'em on Mewtube! If copyright ain't taken 'em down yet."
