Correction: Almost no atmosphere.Hocotate as a whole had extremely advanced technology beyond some of the normalities on Earth. Some. Places like Mute City and cities that centered around technology could fairly compete with his home planet. Still, there were just certain parts to the vessel that could only come from the planet it came from ( ... )

Falcon probably could have done without the lecture, but he let the other captain get it out of his system, if only to make Olimar feel better about their little excursion. It wasn't like he was going to go out there and step on cars. Not on purpose, anyway. Still, Falcon promised to avoid causing any unnecessary destruction. He couldn't quite say the same for his natural intimidation factor, however, especially because it would probably be amplified tenfold while on this planet.

No sooner had Ollie told him not to fly past Hocotate than the onboard computer made a rather obnoxious beeping noise to tell its pilot that he had, indeed, overshot the tiny planet. "Whooops." He said rather sheepishly. "Sorry. It's tiny."

Nothing he couldn't fix, of course, and a few deft button-presses later, the Flyer was in orbit, clearance codes were given, and Falcon was prepared to descend through the atmosphere. "You'll have to help me out for a few minutes here."

For a while, Olimar did worry that his concern went unjustified. Up until the Flyer set off warnings that they passed Hocotate. Instead of moaning, groaning and giving a deadpan reply, he responded appropriately to his friend's request.

"Oh, of course."

"We're clear for landing. Hang on, it might get a little rough."

Descending through an atmosphere was always a little bumpy. Perhaps this was a little less bumpy than usual because it was thinner atmosphere. Still, he glanced back and made sure Ollie was secure in a seat before braving the turbulence. "Few minutes." He said, lights flashing around him as he executed the landing sequence.

And a few minutes later, they were on the ground. The roar of the Flyer's engines slowly died, and Falcon hopped out of the captain's chair. "I gotta get suited up."

"I know," said Olimar as he hopped out of his seat. Unlike Falcon, the native Hocotatian could just walk out onto the planet in normal clothes. Because it was winter, the planet shouldn't have been as hot as it usually was. "Take your time. It would be dangerous if you weren't properly suited."
