Bowser showed up. He was... interested to see what Lemmy had decided to buy for all of them. For some reason.

He was also concerned and slightly worried and also almost certain he wouldn't like it. Because Lemmy had terrible taste.

But Lemmy was his son, and fathers were required to do certain things, one of them being, he supposed, letting his children shower him with gifts.

"Lemmy," he said, acknowledging his child.

Lemmy waved his father down vigorously. Then suppressed a shiver. He knew his father wasn't too fond of him, and Lemmy tried to act like he didn't care what his father thought of him. Even then, he still hoped to impress his dad.

He glanced behind him at the clumsily wrapped gifts. He didn't have any wrapping paper at the time, so he had used his homework regular sheets of blank paper, and colored them with crayons. The misshapen packages were mummified with tape, and the ribbon was just some simple string he bought with the little money he had left.

Kamek, like Bowser, didn't hold high expectations for what Lemmy was about to present for them. He also felt a bit guilty; he should be the one getting things for Bowser's family, not the other way around. Still, he supposed he grew to be more than just a nanny in the Koopalings' eyes.

Kamek hopped from his broom and unto the wet grass. Kamek would accept whatever gift Lemmy had for him, and not just because doing otherwise was disrespectful. Receiving a gift from one of the kids was no small matter to Kamek.

In the end, Wendy didn't really care who was the one buying presents for her as long as there were presents being bought for her. She just hoped Lemmy had enough sense to make it really shiny and really expensive. But when she saw the lumps that vaguely resembled packages, she instantly grew skeptical.

She also didn't like that she had to come all the way out into the wet cold outdoors for this.

"This better be good."

Lemmy bit his lower lip in excitement as Wendy and Kamek showed up. He hopped off of his ball and gathered the lumpy parcels in his arms, struggling a bit since he couldn't carry very much in his small arms.

It was when he turned back around to bring his family their presents that he began to feel nervous. What if they didn't like their gifts? What if his dad was disappointed in him again? It would be just like the Dinosaur Land incident all over again. What if Wendy hit him?

He gingerly held out one of the packages to Bowser. "I-I hope you like it.."
