Selene had shown up, glad that their cheerleading team finally had a coach. Now perhaps they could build up some new routines together and new strategies to, basically, give off a good 'GO TEAM!' vibe. At least, that's what she guessed. She wasn't this experienced with this kind of thing.
So here she was, showing up and waving, whether or not Missy would see that.

Cheerleading coach? What nonsense was this? Wendy didn't need a coach. She hadn't put a lot of practice into the whole cheerleading thing yet, but she knew she'd be absolutely flawless (as she was with everything she did). But a coach could come in handy for the rest of those bums on the team. That way Wendy wouldn't have to waste her own time trying to get the moves through their thick skulls.
As for why she herself was here... Well. She might as well practice with everyone else and show off just how superior she really was.
Missy wiped her brow off lightly with a towel, grinning as she put her pompoms down. "Wow," she said with a nod, "Nice turnout! Well, for those of you who don't know, my name is Missy, and I'll be your coach from today on. We won't do too much for a first practice, so for now, why don't you introduce yourselves? Your name, year in school, and one interesting fact about yourself." She smiled; this was how teachers did it, right?

"Ah, well, let's see~" Selene started out. She had much to say about herself. "My name is Selene from the land of Popples, and I am but a senior. One interesting fact about myself is that I am a fairy with an affinity for the moon. My island at home is made up of moon decor and creatures by the name of Payapaya. They are lovely creatures, imbued with the power of the moon and stars above them, as well~ And..."

"Yeah, yeah, nobody cares!"
Wendy waved impatiently, eager to get on to the good part - the important part. Talking about herself, of course. "I'm Wendy O. Koopa and I'm a Princess. It's my first year here but I'm the captain of this squad so I've got the authority here."

"I'm Wave the Swallow," she introduced herself. "I'm a senior, and I'm a mechanical genius."
