Smithy only had to wait a little while before Pit popped out of the big door. A light flickered in his eyes when he saw Smithy waiting for him and his steps became blithe with his elevated spirits. Down the stairs he skipped and came to a stop in front of the mechanic's teacher.

It was a shame Ribbon couldn't come. She vanished off the face of campus yet again.
