Mike hoped he was doing the right thing. He arrived shortly after Smee did, taking a good look at her as she saw next to the tree before approaching it. He still felt strongly about her. He wanted to make this work. But he wasn't sure what was going to happen...

Approaching, he tried to put on a smile and said, "Hey, Smee. It's been a while."

Smee actually didn't catch his scent until she heard him spoke, which was odd for her. She didn't put herself passed it, focusing on the fact..that he was here. Her heart was already starting to accelerate, becoming so nervous as she looked up to him.

"I-It has.." she muttered, trying to calm herself down.

He could tell she was feeling nervous. Better try to put her at ease... He took a seat next to her. "I'm sorry if I came on a little strong earlier," he said. "I just... We needed to talk about this."

Well okay the tone did calm her down a bit, the only problem? She just..couldn't look at him right at the moment, turning her head down, she sighed, nodding silently. "I..It's okay..B-But you're r-right..we do.."

He looked down at his hands. "Well, I asked you here, so I'll start... What happened with Nester was a misunderstanding. I talked to him. He was trying to protect his stupid pride and win some kind of dare. He didn't mean it, and he apologized for it."
