Meta Knight might have had some kind of secret sweet tooth. It was probably more like a full set of teeth, but still. So when Kirby mentioned this stand thing, it was practically a given that he would show up. "Good afternoon, how are you two today?"
"Poyoyo, here are the napkins poyo!" There were a pile of napkins neatly placed off to the side of thee stand, and at first Kirby picked them up with syrup-covered hands. He blinked a few times before wiping his hands clean and picked out another to hand them over to Meta Knight.
"Poyooo a surprise poyoyo?" Kirby pondered as he looked over at the rows of finished dango. He picked out one that looked like an ordinary dango, except probably a little more red than usual.
"Poyo this one tastes like the flower you have poyo!" Kirby said with a cheerful smile as he handed it over.
"Hello!" Bulbasaur greeted back. They were getting quite a few customers! "Would you like some dango?" He asked, holding up a yummy looking skewer of the dumplings.
Bulbasaur had previously learned that trying to list all of the flavors was kind of boring. Might as well stick to the basics.
"We have some chichi dango and some goma dango and some... mita..." Oh no what was this complicated foreign name. "Mita..ra..shi dango!" Bulbasaur pointed them out as he said the names. "And then we've got a bunch of unconventional flavors, ba."
Under normal circumstances, Ho-oh didn't care for sweets. Cakes and donuts often left him feeling sick to his stomach, a trait that evolved into a general animosity towards all things sugary. But there was always a few exceptions.
Muffins, fruits and.. things that reminded him of the Tin Tower.
That the dango were being sold by adorable little boys was just a very nice bonus.
"Poyoyo! Hello Mister Art teacher poyoyo!" Kirby greeted the legendary with a smile and an energetic wave.
Recommend? Oh, Kirby would recommend all of the dango he made! It's a shame he can't eat any of them, they're for the customers.
"Poyooo, I think I would like this one," Kirby thought out loud as he picked out one with frosting on it, and then he turned to look at one with different shapes (in which it made it look more like an oden piece instead of a regular dango). "Or this one poyo!"
Frosting.... he could feel his stomach turning at the though. The oden-like odango wasn't too bad, Maybe he could even get it with a little usukuchi with it.
"Cute.." he shruged. "Um. The one with all the shapes, I guess."
The first indication of Pit's arrival came in the sound of sandal clops. There he was, charging across school grounds. He slowed down when he neared the vendor booth Kirby and Bulba had made, a fresh smile scrawled on his features.
"Kirby!" he sang. "Bulba," he also cried. His arm flung up in a quick wave as he stopped in front of the stand. "How’s business?"
"That's good to hear." He took a gander at the array of sweet dumplings, amazed at the variety and amount presented to him.
"Wow... you guys sure worked hard, didn't you?" He wondered which of them would be most suitable to his taste buds. Just the mere sight of the squishy, sugary treats made his stomach squirm in hunger. The ones dipped in syrup looked appealing, but so did all the multicolored ones. "There are so many... it's going to be hard to decide! I had one like that before." He pointed to the chichi dango that boasted three pastel colors.
"Yep!" Bulbasaur said, smiling quite proudly at the mountain of goodies that Kirby and he had cooked up. They really were quite appetizing. He'd been resisting snacking on them the whole time. (And was actually quite proud of Kirby for not inhaling them all yet!)
"Maybe you could get more than one ba... I know I would have problems picking just two or three though."
