Who: Vashta, Sheik(/Zelda?), other Big Damn Heroes.
What: oh look a building fell on Vashta that must hurt
Where: Ruins of a building, a little less than a mile away from the school.
When: Shortly after the new Aparoids are sent in on the ninth.
Rating: PG right now, probably will have cursing later on.

Knuckles sprinted out of the forest and slashed his shovel claws through another Tyrant. This one, however, slashed back and he felt his bullet proof vest rip under it's razor sherp claws. He leapt into the air, rolling into a ball before slamming down on top of the grisly brute, spinning like a buzz-saw until the creatures torso was naught but quivering spagetti-sauce.

He sprinted on, knowing there were more people out there who needed help with these new, tougher opponents.

He saw some movement through the haze of smoke and dust, and ran towards it, unsure if it was friend, foe, or foe looking like a friend.

"Hey, You!" he called, getting in close enough to see someone familiar. "You the real sheik or do I gotta add another one to my body count for the day?"

Sheik looked over and stood up, hands up non-threateningly. "I'm the real Sheik." An odd word for a disguise, but he tried to not think of that. "I'm glad you're alright, Knuckles."

Of course, an impostor WOULD say that, and Knuckles was still wary. These things drew on your memories, after all, and he thought pretty highly of Sheik - he'd be one of the last the last people Knuckles would expect to attack him.

"..OK." he replied, walking over. "What's going on here - you look like you're shifting this rubble..?"

Sheik looked back, kneeling down. "I heard a scream earlier, then this collapsed... Do you see this?" He moved some more of the debris away, the soft green glow rising from underneath. "I don't know what's under here, but I'm checking it out."
