"Yeah, I would love to actually catch up with you guys. It's been so long~."
Conker's ears twitched.
"Oh, and Kazoo, I brought some drinks for you and me. Because I really wanted to hang with you guys, I'll refrain from getting smashed tonight and settle for a buzz. Haha~"

"Aww! But i LIKE it when you get smashed!" She smirked, grabbing a drink and attempting to hide it from Banjo. She nodded, though, and walked over to the checkerboard table where she sat on a crate.

Diddy's eyes wandered around the room as Kazooie pulled him down to the seat next to hers. "Sit, monkeybutt!"

Banjo gave a bit of a sigh at Kazooie taking a bottle, but knew he really couldn't do anything about it. He tried before, but to no avail, so he just made a timid plea. "Uh..Kaz, could you try not to get smashed tonight too? I'd rather not have you throwing up in my backpack."

Even though Kazooie could easilly win most disagreements with the bear, the concept of getting drunk has still yet to happen to her whether other authority figures would bust her or she flukes in her own way. In this case, it was her inability to open the darn beer bottle!

"I've always wanted to get smashed, Banjo! I wanna be tripping!"

Conker smiled at Kazooie's question.
"That's what I've been wondering. It's been a while since I've seen you all, Diddy especially. Have you guys gone on any crazy ventures recently? Kept up on your driving skills?"
He took a slight swig of his flask.
"Oh, Diddy, I know this is your first time being in this little clubhouse, Banjo, Kazoo and I found a while ago...it's not much to look at now, I guess, but I think we'll be frequenting it more often, now that the hobo's gone."

Kazooie couldn't open her bottle and slammed it on the table in frustration, then crossed her arms.

"We're still waiting for our third game!"

"K-Kaz, calm down. At least we know it's going out, right?" Banjo put a hand on Kazooie's shoulder, attempting to get her calmed down.

"Yeah", she sighed, beginning to smile as she leaned her ear on Banjo's hand. "We should expect our next adventure to happen in the summer of 2010!"

Conker grinned at Banjo and Kazooie, reaching over to open Kazooie's bottle himself.
"Well, better than I can say, anyways, I've been laying low lately, since last time."
He paused, and turned to Diddy.
"How's your room mate doing? Kazoo's not brother. Things going better?"
Conker was surprised at himself for even caring, but was actually more concerned for Diddy possibly living with the depressed bird more than he was for Falco himself. Unless him and Powalski had patched things up, that is.

"I honestly have no idea" Diddy shook his head. "He's rarely spoken to me at all in over a week and he's almost always either moping or staying over at someplace else. He even came home smelling like beer one morning! I've seen him a little happier in recent days but we still don't talk." He started to smile. "I just go to my room to sleep nowadays. I prefer not to stay there much longer than I have to!"

"HUZZAH!" Kazooie snatched the bottle back and downed as much as she could in one gulp but then slammed the bottle back down in disgust. "BLEH! This tastes all funny!"

Conker smiled at Diddy, but jumped at the sudden slam of the bottle from Kazooie.
"H-hey there, don't waste it, if you don't want it."
Conker picked the bottle up and examined it.
"Tastes funny? I snuck into the Cock and Plucker to get these bottles, I know the bartender."
He shuddered at the memory.
"This beer better not be bad, all the teachers were there...I could have gotten caught!"

Banjo groaned at Kazooie's downing of beer. "Well, maybe you've learned your lesson." He huffed and crossed his arms. "I told you before that alcohol isn't all that great, and you never seem to believe me. Why don't you ever take my advice?" He wasn't so much angry at her ignoring his advice, but that she had no concern for her own health, and he had to take care of her because of that..not that he didn't like doing that, it just gets tiresome to have to continue doing so no matter how hard he tries to get her to look after her own health responsibly.
