Lugia was really glad Goose had offered up for a talk in a journal entry he had made in the past week. Weavile also did and he was also really happy about that. He would have to go repay both of them as soon as all this stress goes away!

He was relaxing to a few quiet music in his room when he heard a couple knocks at the door. He got up from his chair and walked over to the door, opening it.

"Greetings Goose!" Lugia greeted with a smile. "I am excited to go on this outing today!"

It was obvious he hasn't been sociable when he was younger; who would say "outing" nowadays?

"Heh, looks like ya' are," Goose snickered, motioning for him to follow him. "Trust me, ya're gonna love the bar~"

He stepped out of the dorm room with the legendary Pokemon, not even needing to glance around to catch sight of Sharky once they exited the building. He immediately spotted that paint job as soon as his body hit the outside air!

Bringing Lugia over to his little beauty, he patted 'her' on the head and smirked proudly, like a father showing off his eternally angelic daughter. "This's our way of gettin' there... Lugia, meet Sharky. Sheee's my baby pride and joy vehicle girlfriend gyrocopter~"

Lugia's smile faded ever so slightly when he saw a vehicle parked in front of the building; he had a rather horrible case of ochophobia.

"Ah...Hello" He shifted his glasses as he greeted the vehicle, not knowing what else to say. "She's quite...magnificent, I must say."

He was getting treated to a "drink," or so people say apparently. He certainly didn't want to put the other into a sour mood when they had just stepped outside.

"Ain't she?!" Goose snickered and climbed into the vehicle, motioning for Lugia to follow suit in the seat on the back. "Remember to get yer' seat belt on. Don't want ya' to fall out or anythin'!"

... that was probably a bad thing for him to say, but unfortunately (?) for Lugia, Goose was oh-so-unaware!

Shifting the vehicle into gear, he let it begin to roll back a little, facing a position where it could 'drive' for a few seconds before finally lifting off. It kept treading along the parking lot... gaining a little bit of speed... until finally, the speed skyrocketed, as did the gyrocopter. It escalated in sea level in minutes, careening through the air and filling the skies with the 'fut-fut-fut-fut-fut' noises of the propellers.

"You likin' it so far?!" Goose screamed over the noise, flying a bit faster than usual. That 'magnificent' comment just gave the pilot a huge ego boost, thus causing a bit of... 'show-off-y' behavior.

"Oh yeah, Lieutenant Surge's one of the teachers here, yep," Goose stated with a firm nod. "Military Protocol teacher, t' be exact~ Somethin' I'm familiar with since I'm in the air force myself."

Thankfully, it was actually the fact that they both were into the army that kept Goose from staying mad at him after the first day they... ahem, met. Wasn't it what sparked up Goose's conversation with him? That was what he recalled, but he wasn't entirely sure. It had been SO long since then...

"Livin' off campus is... I 'unno. It feels kinda weird bein' in the hustle and bustle o' the city, 'specially since my old home was kinda rural, but..." He shrugged before taking another quick slurp of his drink. "It's... nice. I'm sure livin' on campus would be nice, tho', what with havin' neighbor dorms with people livin' near you and all."

Goose didn't pick up what Lugia was going to be drinking next. "Heh, what're you orderin' now?"

"Being a human has its inconveniences, I believe." Lugia replied with a small shrug. "Being a Pokemon with some psychic powers, I am able to communicate even in my natural form and the sea is practically my homeplace, so I am not in need of a shelter..."

Lugia blinked a few times as he heard the other ask what he was going to get.

"Ah, I asked for any recommendations from the bartender, and he is going to prepare a certain drink of cocktail!" The legendary replied with a cheerful smile. "Apparently it is a light alcoholic drink...?"

"The sea's... your... homeplace?" This made Goose's mind go into a state of '... wait, what the fuck?'

Goose raised an eyebrow, making a random assumption from what VERY little knowledge of Pokemon he had and learned from the internet (and his gym leader boyfriend, of course). "So uh... I'm guessin' yer' a water-type Pokemon then? Or ya' have gills or somethin'... or it has somethin' to do with the whole psychic thing." He smiled sheepishly, REALLY not very intelligent in the whole Pokemon shindig.

"A cocktail, huh?" Goose returned the positivity of the smile. "Sounds good! Some cocktails are kinda light, yeah... but some ain't, 'specially if you add a crapload of alcohol into it. I'm sure the barkeep knows what he's doin', though, so it should be a lighter one for ya'."

"I am actually not a sea animal, but I do have the ability to stay underwater for a long time. I actually take a form of a very large bird." Lugia replied with a laugh, just remembering that he never had talked about himself as a Pokemon. "Indeed, a bird living underwater is quite... absurd, but I have my reasons for it."

"There are a few strong ones?" Lugia repeated as a question, quite surprised. "Hm, hopefully the bartender is considerate and will give me something light. Even with beers it seemed rather intense for me to handle."

No sooner than later an Appletini was presented in front of him in a Cocktail glass.

"Hm, quite an interesting glass cup, I must say." Lugia commented, picking up the glass to inspect it, careful not to spill any of the contents.

Goose shook his head at the way Lugia was acting. His behavior right now almost reminded him of his own drunken behavior... or, err, what little of it he remembered. He always seemed to get drunk-amnesia.

Retrieving his own drunk, the pilot nodded at the bartender in thanks, and then... wait, did he just hit his forehead? Oh, silly, silly Lugia. Snickering, he brought his drink up to his lips and took a little sip. He wasn't gonna really try to DOWN it... since, well, he didn't want to be drunk until late, laaaaate night where there are no witnessesAs Lugia spoke of the man he dated, however, he couldn't exactly hold back a frown. Cheating... ugh. He never understood why some people preferred to commit that sort of act in any way, shape, or form. He could never imagine doing that to Surge... and hopefully, his boyfriend wouldn't do it to him either. Although he seemed to be rather flirtatious, however, Goose didn't exactly expect that out of him. He trusted him ( ... )

"It really is!" Lugia replied with another 'hmph.' "Plus, he's shown up and trying to talk to me again! If he didn't betray my feelings so easily back then, there was a small chance of getting back together, but noooo. He didn't change at all either!"

It was pretty obvious who he was talking about.

Lugia blinked a few times as he noticed the frown on Goose's face and frowned at that as he sat up in his chair.

"Awww, Goosey~" Lugia couldn't help but latch onto the the other, giving a tight hug. "I'm so sorry you have to hear my whining! I'm sure you guys will be juuust fine!"

He pulled away and gave a big, bright smile. "So cheer up?"

Although it was obvious who Lugia was talking about to... well, other people, Goose supposed, he had no idea who the heck he was talking about. "... huuuuh? Really? Ya' mean... wait, does he teach here, maybe?" IZZAT why he's been feelin' so crappy...?

... but wait, the hug.

... the HUG. Okay, mind has definitely stopped. This was just plain... awkward... and... geez. He was hugging him in a baaaaar. And they were FRIENDS. ... WHAT.

"Uhhh, s'fine, I toldya' I'd be here t' hear ya' out..." He muttered a little uncomfortably, forcing out a smile. "I think we'll be fine, too..."

His smile became a little less forced, however, when Lugia finally released his grip. "Heh, I will. Promise!"

"Yes, he does. He recently came to campus." Lugia replied with a big frown on his face as he turned back to gulp down his drink. "He's so annoying!"

Okay, so he was probably a bit too drunk now. He wasn't the type to hug people even when he's not out in the public.

"...Hm, I need to go to the bathroom." Lugia then said as he tilted his head to the side, abruptly changing the subject. "Do you know where the bathroom is?"
