Roselia was exhilarated. This was all so very exciting! While he personally felt that the room could have been a little more extravagant, he did understand that it might have alienated the less-confident students. He waited patiently as Miss Catherine described their activities for the day.
"Oh, this is positively wonderful, dear! I can't wait a moment longer!" Being Roselia, he went straight for the center of the banner, carefully laying out the markers in a row where he could easily reach them as he worked. Roselia got straight to work, not wasting any time, lying down on his stomach at the banner's edge, his feet kicking back and forth in the air as he began to draw the markers across the paper. Curling, whimsical, variegated script began to spell out 'Gay-Straight Alliance'; flowers and stars and other sparkly effects populated the space around it.

Lucas had been all for making pictures when he was a kid, but there was no denying the fact that he drew just about as well as an eight-year-old. If this banner was going to be going up in public, it made sense that they wanted it to look nice, so... while the others eagerly moved in to make their additions, Lucas lingered shyly at the edge of the banner.

Roselia had already done his own small tribute for the day; an offering of flowers, naturally. It was an unusually quiet and private ceremony for the flamboyant Pokemon, so perhaps something a bit more prominent was in order. Awareness had to be built, after all. "I believe candlelight vigils are popular, but I assure you, my full support goes to whatever we choose to do."

"A candlelight vigil is an outdoor event held after sundown, generally as a peaceful protest against an injustice or as a tribute to the sacrifices and losses of others. Everyone attending holds a single candle to light the area. Sometimes there are speakers, sometimes the attendees simply speak of their experiences, other times it's simply a time of quiet reflection," he explained, turning uncharacteristically serious. "They're quite beautiful. It may be too cold for one this time of year though..."
