Characters: Mario, Mallow, Geno, Bowser, Peach
What: With Mallow's addition to the school, Peach reminisces of older times when she, Mario, and Bowser all worked together alongside Geno and Mallow as a team. Geno entered the room, gazing around at the distinct lack of people. "Guess I'm the first one here." He said to Peach, approaching the cake-laden podium. "I don't know if this will help, Princess, but I'll certainly try to help bring about a peaceful truce."

Mallow bounced happily through the Academy's hallways, poking his head into every room he passed by. The map didn't make much sense to him, and this whole "school" thing still needed some adapting to anyway.

He was excited to see his old friends again. How long had it been, anyway? Too long for his liking! He hoped Bowser would get over his pride and join in the reunion with the rest of them... After all, Mallow knew the Koopa King was a nice guy deep down, as much as he tried to deny it.

Finally Mallow came upon the Student Council Room, and his eyes lit up at seeing Peach and Geno, recognizing them immediately despite their new attire. "Hey!" He beamed and waved his puffy little arms.

Mario trodded with a happy skip towards the student council room. Cake! Peach! He wondered what she had planned~ Since vacation Mario and Peach hadn't spent enough time together, and he'd been busy with start-of-the-year stuff since school got back in!

He opened the door way too enthusiastically. "Oh peachiee~" He stopped upon seeing the other guests. "O- oh! Mallow, Geno! You're a here too?" He tried his best not to seem disappointed, or too red in the face.

Peach couldn't help but notice Mario's disappointment, but this had to be done. "Hi, Mario! Come on in! We were ummm...just discussing old times! Here, have a slice of cake!!" Geno quickly cut a piece for the plumber and Peach handed it to him quickly. "It's a new recipe and I really wanna hear what you think!"

Mario rubbed the back of his head. "Ohoho- Of course Peachie! I bet your cake is-a delicious as always!" He takes the plate and takes a large bite out of the cake, not even using a fork. He smiled and talked while chewing. "Mmmf~ Thish ish-a rrlly goof, Peash!" Realizing the rudness of it all too late, he forced a swallow. "Discussing old times... sounds-a like fun!" Atleast he could mean that, despite getting over the part about no alone-time.

"Ah, yes, the good old days." Geno interjected, sideglancing at Peach as she shut up the cloud prince. "I'm sorry we haven't spoken much so far this year, Mario. I was pleased to hear that you've been doing so well at this school."

"Oh, Mario!" Mallow would have jumped for joy if he had any jumping abilities at all, but as it was he would have to settle for an excited bouncing. "Now we just need Bowser to show up!"

His gaze flickered to the cake, and he made an 'ooh' sound.

Eeek, he mentioned Bowser!

Peach grabbed another slice of cake and stuffed it into the cloudboy's mouth, leaning over and whispering into his ear. "D-don't mention Bowser until he gets here, or else Mario might leave before we all have a chance to talk!"

Mallow looked clueless for a moment, then realization dawned over his face. He winked and did a finger-gun-thing at Peach and mumbled something unintelligible around the mouthful of food.

After chewing for a moment he somehow managed to swallow the cake, and twirled his thumbs. "I meant, uh, that's how it woulda been... back then."

There, that's the ticket.

Mario looked up from munching on another peice of cake. "Hmrph?" He swallowed. "Did-a you say something about Bowser, Mallow?" He looked annoyed annd glared suspiciously at his puffy friend as he tried to turn his mistake around. "Oh... ah, righty." Mario gave him a perplexed look and went in for more cake.

Bowser enters the room, a little uncertain whether this was the right choice or not. He didn't really have a reason to distrust the four of them. Well he didn't have a reason to distrust Peach. The other three? Weeeeeeell, they know him well enough to push buttons, not to mention they've seen him at the WORST possible points in his life ( ... )
