Do you have access to a handheld GPS? Try hiking with a purpose. Check out Geocaching.com. I do it all the time and love it. If you don't have a GPS, I have 3, so you might be able to weasel me out of one. Fair trade of course. Maybe a story with an idea I have or something. Seriously though it is a fun sport, depending on where you are.
