favorite songs?

Aug 13, 2012 13:34

The new album's been out for a bit now, and I'm curious-- what are everyone's favorite songs? Personally, I'm loving Hikari (even though I know they can't actually sing like that), Nee, Monsters, and of course Crazy Five :D

(Also, since I was curious about the lyrics, I translated Nee and Crazy Five-- found here and here, if you're interested!)

loving Hikari too, the most, followed by Kimi to boogie woogie and Manatsu no datsuugokusha. but overall, as far as disc 1 goes, there's not a single song i feel the need to skip, which is very unusual, so i'd say it's a really good album. ;D
the solos on the other hand are rather disappointing for me, but Crazy Five saves the day. ♥

Ooh, yeah, Manatsu's pretty awesome too :D I'm inclined to skip I Wanna Be Your Man sometimes though, the genre just doesn't click with me or something.
Crazy Five totally rocks. All that smaplove♥

Gift, Hikari, Manatsu and Just Go. I'm not really fan of the solos except Monsters!
It's a good album but NOT a VERY good one.

Monsters is way more kickass than I was expecting! :D Makes me wonder what the drama's gonna be like...

Mae ni is getting the most air time from me right now. Hikari and Monsters are the next two that come to mind. Of course Sakasama and Gift are in my forever repeat playlist with these songs. The solos get major mixed reviews from me. :P And Crazy Five I haven't made a decision if I want to cringe or LOL.

Which solos do you like? Kimura's and Goro's solos get passes from me, and I'm still getting used to the old-yakuza-movie feel of Tsu's, but Nakai's and Shingo's are definitely on repeat :D
I admit I cringed at Crazy Five at first, but the lyrics won me over once I got past the intros to the smap love♥

My fav solo is Monsters and then La + Love & Peace. The other three are all together as a pass. :P Honestly I've listened to each only once and just didn't want to listen to them again. I'm trying to think really hard about the solos and I think there's barely a handful that I really like from any of them. I love them as a group.

Same here, this album has some pretty nice lyrics going for it :) Maybe not as strong as We are SMAP in my opinion, but a nice variety :D

I think the same way, We are SMAP was better but this album is still good!^^

following ur talk guys, i think both albums are quite good, i think We are Smap~ lacks of the funky side that gift has and is more abt slow memorable tunes like hinageshi, mijikai kami, sotto kyutto, love and peace inside and We are Smap~ somehow i stay with Gift~ despite i like more the solos in We are Smap. The variety of this album is what i like the best, but i still dont know :P and i have listened their albums like a gazillion of times, whenever is abt faves i cant decide xD

CRAZY FIVE >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> everything else put together

Disc 1 is in my humble opinion awesome as a whole. I still can't skip over a track when listening to it (only Sakasama, and that's just because it's an already released single).
I'm on the Hikari fervent appreciation bandwagon too, tho. Also, Manatsu no Datsugokusha and I Wanna be your Man. ♥♥

CRAZY FIVE sooo kicks ass♥♥♥ I'm dying to know how it'll be in the concerts!

Seems lots of people like Hikari! I was expecting more complaints about the autotune. (There's no way Nakai can sing that high XD)

Sa~me. The na~ni's are gonna be priceless performed live.

I don't mind autotune when it's done right (hey, I'm a Perfume stan), and Hikari, just like Glamorous on This is Love is the definition of autotune done right, imho. (True as hell :p but since Kokoro Puzzle Rhythm worked live, anything will. I have faith in them. :3)
