There are number of reasons for why I always try to watch SMAPxSMAP when I have time. While not every week is a gold worthy episode, but I do look forward to it for:
1. Shingo's Oishi corner - regardless whether I know the guest or not, it's just have some hilariousness to it and don't forget Shingo's major trolling tendency too :)
2. Number of segments being shuffled around, so rather each week we have different corner besides SMAP Bistro. This reduce the boringness out of watching the show every single freaking week. Imagine if you've tuned in for SMAPxSMAP from the beginning... that's like... 20 years plus? wow...
3. SMAP performance... the reasons vary widely in here, though there are some occasional miss here, but... I like this segment, the stage always look awesome, Kimutaku looks like he enjoys performing any other songs than SMAP songs too...
and another set of reasons...
This week's episode off course not one of their best, but there're always things to check out, especially the 2nd segment, which I find it quite cool...
SMAP Bistro will always... make you hungry...
Just look at the food!! They definitely use high quality meat there!!! Wagyu & kuro buta is the standard there, no wonder the guests always go home happy LOL
No matter where the guests come from, SMAP always can cover up any awkwardness (unless it really can't be helped for some cases), and in here Nakai's MC skill shone...
And off course! Shingo's Oishii corner LOL, it's the parody of Matsuken Samba, now it's Katsuken Samba!
Obviously Neymar had fun! And Shingo change the lyrics too :) definitely worth watching!
And he changed to Brazil shirts underneath that sparkley yukata LOL
The feathers poked Nakai LOL
Shingo introduced himself as Katsu DoS, but add on with but usually DoM desu, and get the head smack from Kimutaku LOL
Take a pic with the kakigori XD
Second segment is the real challenge, their task was to make a short film under the guidance of the guy behind lots of movies, including Mogura no Uta (Ikuta Toma's) -- Side note, I just watched this movie on the plane, and it's AWESOME!
The theme is Doki Doki movie. Each person is given 15 minutes to take whatever shots required, and the catch is there's no cameraman, no nothing, just you, the cast & the setting. Challenging eh?
Meet the setting and the cast. We have the heroin and the gang of zombies.
And this is the only equipment they have to shoot the movie.
So how did SMAP tackle the task?
Kimutaku's seriousness and Tsuyoppon actually had fun doing it... his remarks: Directing is interesting!
So, they showed the result, starting with the pro...
And then, Kimutaku's.. which were done very nice, seriously, his personality of being majime was apparent here.
Takashi-san, the director, praised Kimutaku as somebody who knows a lot about movie and Kimutaku's result is better than his... and look how Kimutaku grins LOL...
What did Goro instructed Shingo to do and praised Shingo with 'the best'?
And made Kimutaku laugh like that?
Goro made Shingo do the weird gesture (you have to watch it!) and Shingo complained right after the rest bursted into laughter LOL
And sadly... we have to wait till next week to see the rest's... I wanna see Shingo's & Nakai's!
See? Beautiful set! Beautiful!
Kimutaku looked good in this performance <3 and he's really having fun here!
