Goodbye to 2006

Well, It's the end of the year and about time to do all that wrapping up and analysis that you do.

I already wrote a "Year in Review" post on my real blog. (Friend smangesable_rss if you want to see my real blog in your LJ friends list) But that's only half of it. That doesn't compare against what I wanted to do. And it doesn't look ahead very far ( Read more... )

My experience (see below) is that weight loss is best and mostly effectively done by improving one's diet, not exercising. See this community for information, steps (e.g. food diary), tips, ideas, etc.

In terms of experience, I've lost just under 10 kilos, Leanne's lost over 30, Bron's down by around 20, another friend has lost around 25 (and still losing), etc.

Anyhow, good luck with it - and with the move. Why Finland BTW?

Basically, I think it comes down to "Because we can" :)

um, yeah. 45 kilos for your height isn't the weight you're supposed to be, I'm pretty sure. I'm probably only a couple of inches taller than you, and girls complain about me being too thin at 50 kilos. I'm supposed to be 55-60 kilos at my height. For your height, from what I know, I'd say you were supposed to be at least 50, and that'd be the lower end of healthy. My little sister is around 45 and several inches shorter and skinny as hell.

So, I kinda think the number set isn't healthy... Especially if you go by fitness and not just anorexia. Don't be offended, just... yeah, it's... dangerous to set a weight target that low from my limited understanding. Which is limited. Ya.

The rest sounds awesome, though sure is a bundle. Dunno how you manage to fit so much into a day, let alone time to read as well. MOVE TO FINLAND?!! With Bruce? Awesomeness! How come? When'd he decide that? @_@ the online business is already taking off?

Maybe I should skip New Years and work work work.

Heh, You probably can't see this from my pics but I am 150cm tall. Like REALLY short. Healthy BMI for anyone is between 19 and 25. Currently I am a BMI of 25. Still healthy, but I don't like it. Healthy weight for me is therefore 42-57 kg. I used to sit between 42 and 49 depending on the season. I would like to be back there again. :)
