Today instead of having a day off we had school. We didn't have classes but we had the whole day planned out. My class heard an ex-modern slave speak then went and heard another woman speak about community service in Natick and the importance of helping eachother and then we had this activity where we discussed how to stop racism in our school and ( Read more... )

that is so amazing i wish i went to a school like that. isnt it fantastic when you get a great moment like that? the hardest thing is to hold on to those epifanies and ideas and remember what you felt.

ive had experiences like that before.
the one issue is that things tend to go back to how they were with other people, as if these amazing things never happened.
which is obviously quite frustrating.

i miss you.
