Tripped and fell at the track today. I'm not hurt, but the coach was mad. Usually when I run I also meditate, it kills two birds with one stone and keeps me focused. But Jane Kellert's stride is really wide, and I didn't see when she got too close to me and... Well, I went down. When Coach Edd saw, he got mad at me for not paying enough attention.

I'm fine, I told you! I think I have a little bruise on my arm, but it's not Jane's fault, really. She just got into that habit, I think. Coach Edd is just being overprotective because the team lost so badly last year.

Yes, that's what he said... He's said it before, a couple of times. It's all right, lots of people say stuff like that. It would be too draining to try to prove it to everyone... And some people still think it's a trick even if they see it with their own eyes.

Also, most coaches are like this, or that's what the other kids on the team say. He's right, I probably wouldn't have fallen if I was looking around instead of meditating... But I guess he and my father have an understanding now.

Ah, it's been a while since I've played any competitive sports...I forgot what it's like to have a coach. Well, glad to hear it's been sorted out. Be careful not to hurt yourself, little miss!
