Hey smallfrau--Just curious if Seattle started to treat you better at all since December. I hope so :-)
I think I could really like living in Minneapolis. I spent some time as a kid living in a suburb, attended college for a couple of years just South of the Twin Cities, and have lots of family out there, so I've spent a little time in the cities, but not tons as an adult. Whenever I do spend some time there, though, I think the feel of the cities seems pretty cool. Seattle's definitely different in some ways...and hard to get to know people in, I'm told, if you move here from somewhere else. Hope you're not finding that to be the case, though.

P.S. (Sorry, not trying to be obnoxious--and I don't even know if you check lj any more, but one more thing:) I have taught ESL in Seattle, but don't yet have my Masters. Just curious if you're doing anything in the field currently, and what your experience has been.
