Apparently I haven't updated my Livejournal in a week but it feels much much longer than that. Today was a good day. I think it's because I woke up when my alarm went off and started my day earlier than I have in months. I felt really productive at work and in class, went to a lunch meeting, and got some work done this afternoon at the Centre ( Read more... )

i don't ordinarily bite my fingernails, but last summer I was so bored in my job I would sit there all day and consistently chew on the same fingernail without thinking about it... until a hangnail on that finger got infected. that's my random gross story.

I'd been biting my nails forever too. Somehow around christmas after years of trying and being bribed by my parents, I just gave up thinking about it and I stopped! Now I always have a nail file with me and am constantly applying nail oil and hand cream and admiring my pretty fingers. It is a big deal, I understand!

Meh, I hate it when I try to use words that are no longer cool. "Shoutout" is cool, though, I think.

Silas seems like a really cool guy and an awesome boyfriend. Lucky you! It's awesome to have.

I am also a fan of the shout out. But I am in the Tracey lingo department as I use those terms as well as regularly describing myself as "totally stoked":
ex. "I am totally stoked on my presentation covering W. E. B. Du Bois' theories of double-consciousness"

and felicity was so lovely last night. i thoroughly enjoyed spending time with you yesterday. thanks for that.

oh yeah, and you and silas are so freaking cute. i've heard more about you and silas in the last couple days than the whole time that i've known you. that's funny.

At any rate, I assure you that Aasa is lovely and not a serial killer but you already know that because I just now remembered that you two met in Saskatoon.
