Hello Saskatoon! I'm back. I'm currently unpacking and my insanely messy room is driving me batty. Later I'm going to ride my bike to the grocery store. Vancouver was fun

Welcome back! Jenny and I couldn't make it to the city this week like we'd hoped, but I think in the near future we'll have to take a tip up there. We'll let you know - we should totally meet for coffee and some Broadway shopping.
oh no! you've left! we should have met, i thought you were here for a longer time.. the woman who owns mod to modern called me yesterday to compliment the bag i made you and wants me to make more of that style for her to sell! haha i'm happy you still use it :)
I know, I wish I'd had more time. We should definitely go for a stroll on Main sometime! And yes, the Mod to Modern lady loved my (your) bag. She examined the inside and gush over the design. I told her that I had asked for a brown and pink bag with a bird and that I was thrilled with the results! I get SO many compliments on it too. All the time, in Vancouver, Saskatoon, Toronto, Calgary!
Actually, I had another Lia mention while I was in Vancouver. I took a screenbuilding/screenprinting workshop at Seamrippers and was asked how we'd heard about them. I said that my friend Lia sold some stuff at their craft sale, and the woman (Georgie was her name, I think?) said "Lia Hood? I noticed your bag and it looked familiar." :)
How did you like the screenprinting class? I have been meaning to take it since last november, but I just haven't found time. Georgie is so nice! That's really funny. :)
I liked it a lot. I wish I'd gone more prepared with an actual design/print in mind, but the actual workshop was good. I brought the screen I made back to Saskatoon and now I just have to find the time to make some more prints and t-shirts.
Welcome back! We should get together some time....now I'm free almost all evenings. 'Tis great! Hopefully we can swing something soon (since we've talked about it for months :) ) Let me know what works for you.
