seasonal music.

Yesterday's bike ride was the first of the season that required mittens. It is officially fall. I have started taking vitamin D again and all I want to do is drink tea, knit, and listen to music that feels like autumn. Recently on my playlist: Sarah Harmer, The Mountain Goats, Julie Doiron, Hayden. Basically, (with the exception of Harmer) anything ( Read more... )

I heard it over at our friends' place the other night and it sounded so good! I think I'll buy it soon!

Have you heard the new Mountain Goats EP? It's also nice and autumny.

We're pretty much soulmates, dude. All *I* wanna do is knit and drink tea and listen to sad bastard music! Maybe we could do this together if we didn't live on opposite ends of the country.

I hope you visit Saskatoon at the same time I do this winter...although clearly it would make sense for you to go to Vancouver...uh

What sad bastard music are you listening to lately? I haven't forgotten that I owe you a serious email, one in which I reply wholeheartedly to some exciting things you mentioned. I am sorry it has taken so long.

Funny you should mention Saskatoon, dearest, because I will be there (albeit very briefly) in and around December 20ish. Will you be home then?

toronto is suddenly freezing today. it is currently 2 degrees and windy as hell. biking home from the cbc we had to walk partway because the wind was so strong we could barely move forward.

I hope you have a serious pair of mittens. Biking in the wind is brutal with cold hands.

Also, I'm ashamed to admit this but I have no idea what you're doing at school in Toronto. But you get to go to the CBC! That's cool.

I had to stop and buy some gloves for biking, otherwise i would be without digits, and therefore not be able to type this.

I am taking Urban and Regional Planning.

We have gone to the CBC twice now. I was disappointed with the museum. It has neat stuff, and lot's of opportunities for saying, "oh! i remember that show". but it is only 2 small rooms.

Urban & regional planning! That's great!

I enjoyed the CBC museum, but I agree it is too small. While I was going down the escalator in the CBC, I saw Keith Boag. He was going back to his office with lunch. I also got to see Peter Mansbridge's office but he wasn't there.

It just feels right as the days get shorter.
