Oh! That was so very lovely, hon! I'm glad you used the misteltoe here♥ And it feels good to know that Lex is always taking December off! ;)) Even villains do need love for Christmas time! Really well done♥
:D I love how this went down - Clark getting his identities mixed up and bumbling around like The Reporter, and Lex seizing the opportunity. It was so charming that Clark already knew that Lex didn't do 'evil' during December, and that he wasn't nearly as big a threat as his Justice League compatriots believed.
An interesting exploration of their relationship, although the Lois reference along with the Clark/Lex pairing in the header makes me worry a bit about partner betrayal.
Mmm, I consider these two to act as I understand canon, which is that Clark doesn't even look at anybody else twice when he's already in what he considers a significant relationship, and that Lex will not try to steal someone from their significant other (he did wait until Lana and Clark had thoroughly broken up before wooing her). I figure the kiss is along the lines of the Zatanna-Clark kiss (except with more confusion on Clark's end) and the staying-the-night... well, to be non-sexual, frankly. Lex was upstairs, and I assumed/tried to write it such that the guest bedroom was downstairs. I just consider it Clex because the relationship is still there, even if the two of them are not quite acknowledging it just yet... :)

Yup, Clark knows Lex best! *nods*
...And of course Lex will be happy to make opportunities happen even if they don't exist yet ;)
