She's beautiful -- I don't think it's possible to have seen The Dollmaster and not love that head.

I know! Mina attracted me from the moment I saw her, but as soon as I saw the movie, there was no doubt: that doll *needed* to come live with me! :D

Thanks so much for the compliments! That last shot is my favourite, too. Ms. Deth keeps exclaiming over how very much St. John really looks like a boy... which is all the more good news for me, since I've never tried to do a boy faceup... not sure how well it would have turned out, had I been left to my own devices. ^_^

Thank you! I'm all giddy to have the opporotunity to "foster" St. Mina (much less her disembodied brother). ^_^ The last pic is my favourite, too.

Be assured that there will be Fox/Dinah pix shortly. I took a couple this afternoon, but since I can't find a tripod in the mess that is currently our house, they didn't turn out well. Soon, though...

The short story: Dinah is much paler than Fox, & her head is much smaller. Looking at them both sitting next to each other, bald, Fox totally looks like a "grey" alien (possibly at least partly because I've still got dark green marbles serving as eyes for her ;D ).

I've heard tell that St. Mina is all around slightly more petite than other CH girls, so I'm fully intending to strip them both nekkid, soon, & make exhaustive comparisons. Seemed like it might be polite to let the new girl settle in for a day or so before tackling that little project. ;}

Oh, yeah... as for St. John's profile... isn't it dreamy? I'm thinking the reason I was originally attracted to either version of St. Mina was the resemblance to real people. I mean, I appreciate stylized dolls as much as the next BJD lover, but I still find it incredibly refreshing to see a doll w/ "normal" sized eyes & a slightly roman nose.

I'm still figuring out the best way to photograph the twins (Fox has kindof gotten me spoiled, in that it really is very difficult to take a bad picture of her)... but just you wait 'till we find our "rhythm"... ;D

ooh what a lovely sight to see on my 'freinds' entries list, a st mina! I don't see many around, and I have to agree with kittytoes. The twins have fabulous names, I really hope you'll post more photos ! xx

It sucks that there really *aren't* very many St. Minas "out & about", so to speak. Kindof weird, since Dinah was #348, & since the CH website says that Versian 1 was a LE of 250, I'm guessing that the ver 2's were added on to that... so, that's at least 350 or so St. Minas, assuming that the ver 2's didn't start counting from scratch. Sad that I can count on one hand how many St. Minas I've seen "second hand". :( Where are these people keeping their Minas, far away from the public eye
