The sex was sweet and hot. The scene with Emily broke my heart a little and the end scene was just adorable.

You've done such a great job of creating these characters, building them from what we know of their parents. This is lovely work.

Thank you very, very much. You know I'm terrified of the characters I don't know. :D

MWAH!

While I was reading the third part I had one song in mind
Kid Rock´s All Summer Long :-)

You so perfectly captured the characters and their feelings, uncertainty. Their lovemaking was so tender and hot in all the uncertainty and passion.

It´s such a joy to read it, it touched my heart and I hardly say something like this about everything I read ;-)
Cheryl, this is a fantastic story you should never ever call "Stupid". Be proud of it!

Love, Heike

Thank you. And I don't really think it's stupid - I just get frustrated when it won't do what I think it should. ;)

I actually LIKE Henry and Ella. So I'm doubly glad you think I got them and this part right.

What a wonderful scene with Ella and Henry. And then Emily--it made me sort of ache for Emily, knowing what we know about her past and what Ella might not know. And then that last horrible gut-wrenching "what now" conversation. Ugh, I've had those and they're so hard! But this was lovely.

Grinning, Henry wrapped his arms around her and rolled them over. “Thank God. I thought I was gonna puke. Probably would have if you’d said anything else.”

And that cracked me up.

I'm a firm believer that your kids never need to know everything about you - so Ella definitely doesn't know. But we do and I could so see her being worried and hoping/praying her little girl never gets hurt like that. And I can only imagine how hard it would be to tell a girl you love her - especially when she's been your best friend since you were a toddler. :D

Thanks so much.

This part was so sweet. The sex was hot yet very real for two young people. And like innerslytherin said, my heart broke a little for Emily during that conversation. I can see her wanting to protect her daughter from heartache she went through.

And the last part was great with Henry blurting out he loved her. Very awwwww.

Another lovely update. Can't wait to read more of the story!

This part took forever to write. But I wanted the tone to be just right. I'm glad that people are thinking it worked. Again, thank you so much for reading - I do appreciate it.

This is just my favorite example of sweet, sensual, teenagers-in-the-summer sex. The pacing, their reactions, the whole thing. I love that Ella's just as active and demanding as Henry and that Henry's just as blown away as she is.

And I LOVE the Emily and Ella scene, hard core. Moms are sneaky. And I totally buy that Emily has a healthy sense of what falls under Dad Does Not Need To Know. Because oh my god.

And then what could be such enormous drama, over I-love-yous, is handled so gently and happily, which makes sense - because mostly, these are good kids. And pretty sensible, all told.

SENDS MOAR *\o/*

You know how long this little scene took me - felt like forever. I wanted it to be just right and I really think it is. So I'm glad you think so too. And I really think a mother's intuition goes a long way in knowing (guessing) what your kids are up to.

I like that they are good kids doing normal teenage things - because, let's face it, this is pretty normal.

Thanks so much for reading and leaving such great comments.
